I have stayed here multiple times on road trips from Alberta to Texas, it is always clean and quiet with a throwback charm. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The showers are hot and the beds comfortable which is what one wants after a long day on the road. I would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again on future trips through Raton.

We have stayed in multiple hotels/motels in Raton, and this by far is the cleanest place in all of Raton, and very friendly staff and owners.

The property and rooms are all older. That said, they are all very well maintained. They are also clean. It is a small privately owned place, so if you need to speak with a person on the phone, there are only certain hours you can do that. It would be nice to have an ice machine available. Overall though, the place is well kept and the lady who runs the place is doing a good job, and it is obvious that she has put a lot of work into her small business, so I don't mind staying at the Robin Hood versus some others in town when I am in the area.
