Seen better days The roadside seat on the B663 just out of Raunds looks to be suffering from advanced decay not helped by being so close to the roadside. It probably gets a good dose of salt each winter.

Raunds, Northamptonshire: war memorial (foreground) and St Peter's parish church (background). The memorial was originally erected in the Market Square in memory of servicemen killed in the First World War. It was moved to its present site in 1950 when the names of the Second World War dead were added.

We've stayed in these apartments most weekends for the last month. They have everything we need they are clean & quiet. Close to the hospital. Washer dryer & dishwasher make it easy All the staff were really friendly a the late check out fee is reasonable.
