"I booked this hotel for our 2 weeks stay in Amsterdam. It is centrally located, but I would not stay here nor recommend the place.
#1 - The ponly plus point I can say it is centrally located and walking distance to Amsterdam Central Station.
#2 - The Hotel is so dated and not well maintained. ...the lobby, the elevator, the carpet.
#3- The amenities are very basic... we stayed for 15 days, and only provided us toiletries once or twice. I have my own toiletries, but something like facial tissue, shower cap etc, I have to ask the front desk. I never been to a hotel that you have to ask for toiletries.
#4 - Our room was spacious enough, but do not have place to put our clothes.
#5 - THe room has telephone unit tBUT no dialtone , which we found it really funny.
#6 - We feel like we were walking in a dark alley and afraid to get 'mugged' walking from the elevator to our room. The hallways are really dark, and carpet, like what I mentioned before are very old.
Overall , we regret booking this place for our long stay in Amsterdam. Do not believe the pictures posted online. Better in picture but not in person."
