"Great location. 7 - 10 min. drive to all the best hiking locations such as devils bridge, airport vortex, etc. Next door to a super market, which was convenient to grab sandwiches to pack for long day hikes. Tons of local restaurants within walking distance. Bathroom in rooms a little outdated, but clean. Comfortable beds. Lively pool with friendly bartenders and daily live music. Great spa, with complimentary services such as steam room, lounge, hot tub, waters and teas. Tasty on site restaurant. The front desk staff was mediocre. Not as friendly or helpful as a 4 star resort should be. For example, 2 days in a row the water was shut off. Upon returning from a long day of hiking, my family and I wanted to shower in order to get ready for our reserved dinner, unfortunately there was no hot water. We had to call the desk to report it and the response was "whoops, we forgot to turn the hot water back on"...and no apology. They inconvenienced us, and we had to take cold showers. The least they could have done was comp us a drink or breakfast or something. Not typical behaviour for a 4 star resort, it was more like a 2 star service. All in all, it was a nice stay for a family of 4."
