The location is great the area was fun the staff was very helpful everyone was kind and my family had a great stay.

Room was exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. Can’t rate breakfast because we got there towards the end of it and by that time the egg was basically gone and the sausage link was very dry.

Candlelight is an excellent choice for a getaway. The only minor complaint I would have is that the ac is in very front of cabin and the bed room temperature was a bit uncomfortable. We stayed in the fall so it wasn’t a big problem. I don’t know how bearable it would have been in July or August. ...

Refugio is my home town; and I was there to attend a multi-class high school reunion. I was saddened to see how Hurricane Harvey changed Refugio for the worst 2 years ago. Do not expect convenience shopping. It's primarily a gas stop for truckers.
