This was by far the most incredible hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The hostess was lovely and so accommodating, and the property itself is stunning as well as centralized to a ton of great restaurants and attractions. Will recommend to anyone coming to Rennes!

Amazing the best place to stay

Now this is a true experience not just a place to sleep. If you want to enjoy staying in a16th century bnb with home made food and beautiful French style then this is the one. Lights in the bathroom wonderful, great hot shower, lovely comfortable bed with feather pillows. Beautiful eclectic common living room. Bedrooms looking out to half timbered houses. Fresh juice, fresh fruit salad, home made crepes, home made chocolate cake. Wonderful host. Fabulous restaurant opposite. A stay to remember.

This is a very unique B&B in an ancient building, which was cool. However, I should have read more reviews to understand that there were so, so many stairs to climb. We are a couple in our sixties and had to climb 70 steps to our attic room (with luggage)! I received an email just a few days prior advising there is no elevator and that our room was on the 3rd floor. There was no warning that the 3rd floor had 70 steps to go up! Our friends were on the 1st floor (about 25 or so stairs to climb) in the "Marnie" room, which was beautiful and palatial. Our room was tiny, with a "double" bed. Yes, that's what I had reserved for us, without knowing the details. To sum it up: if you stay here, beware of the amount of stairs you'll have to climb and ask for the "Marnie" room!

Wonderful B&B - Want to Return!

We were only in Rennes for one night, but wish it would have been longer. This property was wonderful. Marion, the owner, treats you like family. We were in the Marnie suite, which was quite spacious and right off the main 'family room' area on the 2nd floor (right next to the breakfast nook). This was the most comfy bed we were in during out week in France. The property is from the 16th century, so everything creaks when you walk, but I think that adds to the charm. We have a friend that lives in Rennes and she thinks the street this is on is the most beautiful street in Rennes. Highly recommend this property.

We arrived 30 minutes early and rang the bell. We were greeted with “your a bit early but that’s ok “, and she took us to our room. I was surprised because we read how friendly the person was. She never introduced herself or was very welcoming. Did not find her very friendly. There was 1 small bottle of water for 2 people.

Muy recomendable para visitar Rennes. Perfecta ubicación, alojamiento muy bonito y auténtico. El personal super amable, y la habitación perfecta para nuestra estancia. Como mejora quizá recomendaría modernizar las cortinas de la ducha, pero todo el resto nos gustó muchísimo. Muy buen desayuno en un comedor muy bonito. La habitación tenia un patio para leer al fresco que también nos encantó. Recomendamos 100%.

Accueil très chaleureux par la propriétaire de cette belle maison d’époque. Chambre propre et fonctionnelle, excellente literie. Petit déjeuner avec de bons produits frais et jus d’orange pressé.
