저렴한 가격과 친절한 호스트, 조식 포함인 숙소
식당 사용이 되지 않지만 조식이 나옵니다. 조식은 대단한 건 없지만 깔끔하고, 주인 부부분들이 매우 친절하세요. 차도 직접 타서 갖다 주십니다. 방은 반지하같은 느낌이지만 청결했습니다. 다만 라디에이터가 1개고, 바닥이 차서 조금 추운 느낌도 있었습니다. 화장실은 깨끗했지만 변기 덮개가 손상된 상태였고(사용 못할 상황은 아니었음) 수압이 약간 부족한 느낌. 물 온도도 아주 따뜻하게는 나오지 않고 미지근한 느낌입니다. 길 가에 댈 필요 없이, 따로 주차공간이 있는 것은 좋았습니다. 와이파이는 좀 약한 편이었습니다.

게스트하우스에서 직접 음식도 해먹고 외국인 친구들과 대화를 하는 것이 좋은데 이 곳에서는 게스트에게 부엌이 허락되지 않습니다.

게스트하우스지만 키친사용이 안됩니다 2박했는데 수건을 교체안해줘서 새로 달라니 왜재활용 안하냐고 뭐라고 하더군요 조식은 빵으로 깔끔하게 나옵니다 시내랑은 멀어서 렌트카이용자만 가능할듯합니다

The shared bathroom aspect is really the only “issue”, which is fine, just something of which to be aware. The room was nice, basic…curtains not black out but close enough, and the staff were very available and attentive during breakfast. Parking was easy, and even though they are strict on the 3:00pm checkin, it was ok to leave our car and walk downtown while we waited, so it all worked out fine.

Clean rooms and facilities, some parts appear in a bad state, lawn chairs outside and on the patio were broken and dirty (from debris from trees among others). Breakfast was well rounded, tasty and of good quality.

Thorsteinn was a great host. The room was small by American standards but clean. The shared bath was clean and functional. Breakfast featured a wide variety of cereal, pancakes, meat, fruit and juices. And lastly, the espresso machine was tops.

Very nice place to stay. This is a Guesthouse so you have shared bathroom and showers. The main bathroom has heated floors, so nice on a cold day. The rooms do have a sink in them. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. They sell bag lunches and I saw something about a dinner. Continental breakfast is included.

Cheap, clean and simple
If you want a place to sleep while visiting Iceland this is good enough. The house from the outside looks a bit run down but is clean and good inside. Rooms are very simple with just beds and a hanger. Although clean and they serve a nice breakfast each morning. There is a shared bathroom on each floor. So If you want to visit Iceland without paying huge amount of money on a hotel you wont spend time in this is perfect. A clean bed to sleep in the nights and a breakfast to start the day. The guesthouse has a parking just outside which is a plus if you come by car. There is a 15 min walk to downtown Reykjavik.

A pleasant couple to stay with the room was adequate didn’t have anything spectacular but had what I needed. I stayed here by myself while training at a nearby MMA gym on a week long training camp and I was able to get enough rest to be able to complete that comfortably.

Alba Guesthouse imponerar!
Väldigt mysig vistelse. Huset kanske inte ger bästa intrycket utifrån, men när du väl kommer in så är det som att komma hem. Rummen är fräscha och väldigt hotell-liknande med badlakan och handdukar och chokladbit på sängen. Frukosten var den bästa! För att vara ett litet guest house så ger de dig i klass med continental-frukost. Väldigt imponerande! Stannar gärna här igen. Vi tog aldrig en dusch där så det kan vi inte uttrycka oss på.

地點適中，不錯的民宿，而且可看北極光，服務很非常好，早餐尚算豐富。但人多時要爭用冼手間，而停車場也不算大。

Don't drink the water in your bedroom. There was a glass on the counter so I assumed it was safe drinking water. I ended up getting arsenic poisoning due to the amount of Sulphur in the water. Lots of blood to paint a picture.

In Iceland is the best drinking water in the world. Also in our guesthouse., Nobody never gets a arsenic poisoning after drinking our water.

It was a close walk to the center of the city, host was very good about giving instructions on how to get to town. We had a shared bathroom, there was also an extra shower so if someone was using the toilet you could still shower. The room had a sink so you could wash your face and brush your teeth. Blackout curtains were OK, still let a lot of light in which can be an issue during the summer. Breakfast was fantastic!!

Bra, centralt läge. Jättebra och god frukost med allt man kan önska sig! Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal, som dessutom erbjöd en slags lunchmatsäck att beställa till nästa dag (förmånligt pris). Överlag nöjd och kan rekommendera detta boende om man mest är på ”rundresa” på Island och bara behöver någonstans att äta, sova och tvätta sig. Mindre positivt var endast två delade badrum på hela boendet, vilket kändes sådär men det var ändå relativt fräscht. Borden i frukostrummet/”allrummet” var heller inte alltid avtorkade på smulor osv till nästkommande morgon vid frukost, inte så trevligt.

Nice stay
Positive surprise for one night sleep in Reykjavík. Walk to city center isn't too long. Rooms were clean and beds were big and comfortable. Breakfast was much better than I expected and service was nice. I can recommend this place!

I was stuck in Iceland for a layover and booked a room here. It was 6 degrees and raining heavily, while I was dressed for California. I was soaked to the bone at the door, but the host didn't want to let me in, because it was not check-in time yet. So there I am wandering all over Reykjavik waiting for 3pm. I caught a horrible cold and a bad fever a few days later. I can't say that the host is unfriendly. He just really doesn't give a crap about the well being of his guests.

All in all, a nice stay.
Rooms on the small side, but OK. Bathrooms ok, but a couple more would ease wait times. Hosts were helpful, breakfasts very nice.

Great location and great breakfast included!
We stayed 8 nights here. The owners were very nice. We met guests from Russia, U.S., Christmas Island, Scotland and England. The breakfast was filling and the location was great. Many tour companies pick up and drop off directly from this guesthouse. Situated very close to the Perlan museum, the famous church/tower and walking distance to the shops, sights and restaurants of Reykjavik. We even saw the Northern lights from the guesthouse parking lot while waiting for our tour bus! We would stay again. The only negative was the condition of shower curtain in the bathroom.

Lost in Reykjavik.
A little bit difficult to get to, but pretty close to the primary tourist sites (museums, churches, shopping district) once you figure it out. There's no sense to the layout of Reykjavik, and no direct routes to anything.

Frukosten överraskande bra och servicen var bra. Ligger lite utanför centrum men när vi skulle på turer var det inga problem att bli upphämtade. Tar ca 20min att gå in till centrum där restaurangerna var.

Alba Guesthouse oli miellyttävä kokemus. Aamupala oli hyvä ja isäntäpariskunta kaikin puolin miellyttävä. Heiltä sai hyviä vinkkejä mm. lähialueen nähtävyyksiin ja liikkumiseen alueella. Pariskunta puhui hyvää englantia ja heidän kanssaan kommunikointi oli helppoa. Isäntäväki oli hyvin tavoitettavissa koko vierailumme ajan. Huone oli pieni kahden hengen huone, jossa oli parisängyn ja vaatekaapin lisäksi vesipiste. Vaikka tilaa olisi voinut olla hieman enenmmän kahdelle matkalalukulle, niin huone täytti tehtävänsä erinomaisesti. Parisänky oli hieman tavallista kapeampi, mutta muuten hyvässä sängyssä sai hyvät unet. Majatalossa oli hyvin yhteisöllinen ja kodikas tunnelma. Aamupala syötiin kolmessa neljän tai kuuden hengen pöydässä, joten kontakteja syntyi muiden asukkaiden kanssa.
