Mixed experience
The service was spectacular. However, we asked for a toaster in our room and was told that the rooms were not provided with toasters and we would have to use the communal toaster in the dining area. Then, friends came to stay in a different room and they had a toaster! Additionally, we were in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. The unit had 2 furnaces, one of which wasn't working. We ended up having to use space heaters to keep the suite warm. Not great given we paid over $300 per night for our stay.

The room was great as was breakfast, but my room was right by the exit and for some reason maintenance staff needed to work on a door at 8am , slamming the door repeatedly easily 100 times over an hour period

It's okay to spend a night
It was not bad, it was not good. I don't have anything really good or bad to say about the place.
I found lots of hair in the bathroom. I find that off putting.

Room was old and not clean. Water damage in room and not worth the price.

The front desk person was lovely. The room, however, smelled of smoke, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no sheets, pillows or blanket for the pull out couch, ice machine didn’t work and in general not very clean.

Its ok for a one night trip.
It was good for a 1 night stay, kitchen we didnt need but the bed arrangement was fine. Like having a sitting area if everyone doesnt go to bed at the same time. Check in clerk was nice. Couldn't use app to check in because hotels.com doesn't send you an actual confirmation number to put in the hilton app. Hotel is worn and dated. Chip in the tub ceramic, couch looks really worn. No linen for pull out sofa. Bedding is thin and no extra blankets but lobby is nice. Lobby is updated with fireplace .

We’ve stayed here about 6 times. Swimming pool has been closed for months. In our room the main TV was broken. One electric cook top element was broken and so was the dishwasher. We had only 1 dinner fork. Ice machine on 5th floor has been broken for a month; now the 6th floor machine is out of order. Breakfast coffee was cold. Chester VA is a main stop-over for us. We will be choosing another hotel from now on.

I didn’t like that I had to wait almost 30 to 40 mins after check in for my room to finish being cleaned. Other then that everything else was great

I enjoyed my stay and the staff was very nice and very pleasant and the room was like being at home. The hotel was very clean and it was a great place to stay and the complimentary breakfast was great.

I spent almost $200 a night to stay here. It was dirty, bathroom fixtures were broken. Used bar of soap in the shower. Furniture was stained, was given a smoking room without telling me. I will never stay at a Hilton again. Staff was made aware 1st day of broken fixtures and used soap in the shower yet did nothing. Pool was closed for the entire duration but was advertised when I booked the room. Hotel advertised laundry in the hotel but you had to pay extra to use it. I've stayed at other hotels that didn't charge for landry. The elevators were dirty and everything except the lobby and breakfast area was old, out dated, and broken. Very disappointed with my stay and will never come back.

They were wonderful at checkin considering I was with 2 kids and one running around like a maniac in the lobby. Quick and helpful so that I could put my gremlins away. Spacious and good breakfast. Room was clean and spacious as well. And all clean and in good condition.

Staff was nice. Having a separate living vs sleeping room was great, as was the full kitchen. And giving us free water bottles any time we wanted was a very nice touch in such a hot and humid area.
