My room was nice, hotel clean and food was good as well. I did have an issue with how small the bathroom was for a King Suite and that the bathroom door wouldn’t close because it wasn’t on the hinges correctly.

Breakfast and cocktail hour with munchies was EXCELLENT. Loved the omelet station, and the hummus and veggies put out during the cocktail hour really hit the spot. The room was extremely spacious, and the bed was comfortable. My only concern was about the bathroom. The ceiling paint in the shower was flaking off and showed signs of mold/mildew. There was, however, NO mold or mildew smell. The inside of the metal door frame next to the tub/shower enclosure was rusting and stained. The shower pressure was better than most hotels, and the hot water came up quickly. I enjoyed the herbal and black tea selection in the room.

Excellent hotel, though the rooms and bathrooms are a little outdated. The amazing staff make up for any wear and tear the building may have, and they provide a lovely environment. Gavin at the Front Desk went above and beyond to assist and we will certainly stay here again in the future.

The room was very clean. The staff was nice and the amenities are worth your while. Only issue was the air conditioning. Couldn’t accurately adjust the temperature in the room. May be because of the age of the hotel and the hot weather during my stay. Other than that it was excellent!

Building shows signs of age. Lobby looks clean and nice, however we were very disappointed with our room, firstly because it’s really poorly maintained. The bathroom door is almost falling off it’s hinges because it’s old and rotted and heavily water damaged that a piece of rotten wood fell out of the bottom that made it difficult to close and open the door. My husband had to push it back underneath door with his shoe to allow the door to close and open. Really nasty looking door. I have pictures to prove, I wish I can post them. The shower dripped non stop and the air conditioner was loud. Not a restful night. If we stayed one more day in that room we would probably get sick. Complementary breakfast was fine and the servers there were great. Also great service from the bar tender.

This property is wonderful the staff was friendly understanding and welcoming. If the prices was lil cheaper I think I’ll visit much more often. But this is definitely one of those you go to when you have time to enjoy relax and get a drink.

We’ve been coming to this hotel for many years as we pass through to stay in South Carolina. In the beginning, it was absolutely wonderful but recently our last stay we noticed that the upkeep the hotel just isn’t there like it used to be. Still the same wonderful Staff and breakfast is excellent, but you could tell that the property maintenance isn’t being kept. Missing bulbs in breakfast area , paint peeling off walls. Water spots and ceiling was leaking when checking in.
