Lovely setting. Attentive staff were helpful with getting us a quick delicious bite to eat and then getting us into our beautiful room. We were the only guests and found everyone allowed us to be very casual. This was helpful and made our stay enjoyable

From the moment we stepped on property we had the feeling that we had found a special place in the jungle. The facilities were great, the tours were fun, but what made the resort different from all the others was the staff. My kids laughed and joked with them the entire time. Chan Chich presents a unique experience to the adventurous traveler. We stayed 3 nights at this hidden gem and loved every minute. The lodge is simply gorgeous, our two bedroom cabin was perfect, the food is wonderful, wildlife, mayan history and birding tours are exceptional and the service was impeccable.

Great location with excellent staff

I took a chance on this place since I could not find any reviews. I'm very glad I did! The staff was wonderful and the place was absolutely beautiful. If you want to experience the jungle (with comfort) this is the place to go. I could also walk to Blue Hole National Park within 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place.

This is place is a bit outside of the city, but totally worth it. It's very clean and relaxing and the breakfast is quite good. No stale donuts or questionable pancake batter here. They were really good about making arranging transport for us and making sure we were comfortable. Also, the staff is super friendly, especially the drivers and front desk staff. Overall, a very great experience!

We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle.

Air conditioning worked well and we needed it. Kitchen is good with microwave, toaster oven and good sized refrigerator. Protected parking area was good to have.

We had the best time here. The hosts, Shanna and Kenny were great, super responsive and very helpful with planning things to do. Ernesto, one of the drivers was also fantastic and super helpful. The locals and neighbors around the house were very friendly. A grocery store was located near by and we were able to get most of what we needed to make our meals. Heaven on earth. The food was phenomenal, the staff felt like family and the atmosphere was out of this world. A family vacation we will never forget.
