“Lovely visit, friendly staff, good food”

“We absolutely loved the grounds. Saw a ton of birds including parrots, a kingfisher, warblers, hummingbirds and toucans to name a couple highlights. The big issue we had was the room was attached to another and it had no sound proofing at all. So we could hear conversations, we could hear and feel every movement by our neighbor. The room was nice other than that though. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was strong. Room was spacious and clean. We would return if we could stay in a...

“This is a real gem in the jungle - we loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The property is thoughtfully designed around the landscape and the abundance of wildlife is truly special. Our meals at the restaurant were tasty and freshly prepared. The tubing in the property creek is good fun and a refreshing end to one of the walking trails through the grounds. ”

“Maybe spend a few minutes at check-in to give the guest all the info they need. After signing the reservation form, I was given a key and my room was pointed out me. No other info was given. Front Desk agent was in a hurry to leave the building. No WiFi info, location of resort amenities, or other property info was shared. We walked around to find the pool and discovered it was dirty with a bunch leaves and other debris. I learned about the walking trails after my departure from someone else....

“If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. ”

“Wonderful setting in an expansive Oriental garden with coy ponds. Serene, relaxing. The hostess very welcoming. Their Asian restaurant has best Asian food I've had in Belize hands down..it is comfortable and surrounded by coy pond littered gardens. Hotel room clean and tidy and quiet. Quite the diamond in the rough. ”

“The place was extremely clean. It had a nice small kitchen area and nice refrigerator. The owner was super professional and informative. The facility has a Belizian car you can rent which you'll need because the attractions are not too close. The place is nicely tucked away off the main road going into town.”

“The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize.”

“A bit far walking from the shopping area. But there’s a restaurant and a convenience store about 5 mins walking. Also really quiet and safe neighborhood. Hot water works well. A/c was okay. ”
