It was clean but it felt antiquated and the beds were not very comfortable..although it was just three blocks from the beach it was close to the entrance of a favela. The pool was very small compared to the picture..and had a scrubby look...breakfast was good and the internet is very poor ...

Great bang for your buck.

Great location from eateries, and the beach. The view was immaculent. Could see Christ the Redeemer from the rooftop pool. Concierge was very well versed in the english language. Hotel alittle outdated, but still worth the money. Would go back.

The hotel didn't have a iron thats a big minus, the bathroom floor needed some work done the breakfast was good but I wouldn't stay there because my plans was messed up because of them not having a iron I also saw a roach

Unfortunately this property is quite dated with minimal energy and effort put into keeping it updated apart from painting and floor tiles. The photos don’t depict a true reflection of this hotel condition. If you don’t mind a bit of mould in the shower grout and visible beneath the ceiling paint. The staff are amazing they try to help you with every enquiry.

The worst experience of my life at this hotel. Horrible service. The hotel sells itself with photos, but don't be fooled; the photos aren't of the hotel. The hotel is old, the rooms smell awful, and nothing works. Everything is antiquated, and the manager, named Rene, is a person with no respect or manners when dealing with customers. If I could, I would give it 0 stars. Horrible experience!

This was my third stay here. I did not like the room they gave me. There were only four power outlets: One in the bathroom, one in the corridor close to the entrance, another reserved for the TV, and one reserved for the A/C. The A/C one was closest to the bed. If I wanted to charge my phone while in bed, I had to unplug the A/C, & sit/laydown on the edge of the bed. It was an uncomfortable experience. Luckily, I did not need to use the A/C during this stay. If I come back, I'll bring an extension cord. I also learned their guest policy has changed at the worst possible timing. Due to past drama, only registered guests are allowed in the rooms now.

I wouldn't recommend this place.

Service wasn't that great. I wouldn't recommend staying here. There was black mold in our bathroom, the water seemed to cut off every once in a while, and they put us on the 14th floor. The elevator only goes to 13. We had to walk up stairs with all our bags. They didn't provide help.
