“ A long and bumpy ride up to the lodge. As soon as you check in they force you to pay for breakfast as you are disoriented and tired from the ride. You are told you are not allowed to decide in the morning if you are even hungry. Paid for two for breakfast. In the morning only one could eat breakfast because the other was sick. Asked for a refund for the one, two weeks later never received it compensation. Also Couldn’t even open my balcony door because the outside smell of sewage. Paper thin...

“Cute little hotel in downtown Liberia. It's pretty basic but clean and the staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. After our flight was cancelled on a Saturday evening, we ended up at El Cerro along with many others from the flight. The staff worked hard to get everyone settled, gave us late night dinner options, and booked cabs back to the airport for the morning. So grateful to the wonderful front desk person on Sat March 21!”

“Nice room with perfectly renovated bathroom (I had #2). Good air condition and bed. Perfect for a quick early morning drive to the airport. Nice surroundings but close to main thoroughfare and restaurants and just across from downtown. (I brought a sleeping pill to sleep through the moderate street noise). Coffee available in lobby, nice surroundings and friendly bilingual personal, easy check in. Great value, recommended! ”

“This place is amazing at its core. Legacy of a beautifully crafted resort and on the edge of a stunning jungle. They could up a little the service at breakfast (I had to ask several times for cream and went some meals with no water poured) and stick to entrees that they excel at, the pastries and crossaints are not their forte. But the staff was nice. They also could do so much more in the way of wellness offerings and that would make this resort such a destination. I also recommend having...

We arrived here at the end of a week-long travel and were surprised at how this was the perfect stop for the night before our flight from Liberia. “The property needs to be advertised better . What’s in the photos is not the room I received. The ac is not on and takes a while to cool the bedroom as that’s the only room with ac . The water pressure is not good at all . I couldn’t get my long hair rinsed out . The items included on the welcome package were not included . They only serve pizza at the restaurant at the establishment. My room was not cleaned and I stayed 4 days . Left for breakfast daily and no bed made or garbage removed .”
