A nice quiet isolated place

Nice quiet stay, nice large comfortable room, nice pool. Very good breakfast. Chateau is near the Canal were you can have a very nice walk, towards the city of Roanne or not.

Magiskt!! Det är det enklaste att betygsätta detta slott! Värden trevlig och alltid tillgänglig, fixade allt vi behövde och lite mer :) rummet av hög klass, tyst och vi sov fantastiskt med fönstren öppna hela natten som tagen ur en dröm från 1800-talet , helt fantastiskt. Vi hade kört länge och slappnade av direkt i den varma poolen! Vi tog en promenad till centrum och åt en god middag där alla var gästvänliga, en snabb Uber tillbaka för några euro. Fransk frukost med allt vad man behövde, mycket lokala råvaror och smaker 🤩. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka ❤️🇫🇷

N'hésitez plus cet endroit magnifique. J'ai pu profiter d'un dîner délicieux préparé en dernière minute car je n'avais pas réservé mon repas. Excellent petit déjeuner face au parc à l'écoute de la nature. Le propriétaire et son personnel vous accueille avec le sourire, empli de bienveillance et d'attention. Ils m'ont aidé à porter mes bagages de ma voiture au 1er étage où se situait ma chambre.

Ottima accoglienza da parte di Célia, camera molto bellina, l’unico appunto è la mancanza di condizionatori e zanzariere. Bella colazione all’esterno di fronte al laghetto, c’è tutto quello che serve, viennoiserie meravigliosa, le confetture di produttori locali, il miele fatto dalle api dello Château. Château de Matel merita un soggiorno.

Erg leuke locatie op rustige plek. Kamer is netjes en in vrij authentieke staat. De badkamer is ingericht volgens de hedendaagse eisen. De kasteelheer raadde ons een restaurant in de buurt aan die ook een echte aanrader is. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en vanwege het mooie weer buiten. Niks negatiefs over te melden, behalve dat het inchecken pas vanaf 1700 uur kan.

Séjour très agréable dans un cadre magnifique et malgré tout très proche du centre ville. Je recommande vivement et petit déjeuner comme à la maison avec des produits locaux !

Premier séjour dans ce très beau château. Cadre magnifique, chambres spacieuses et super accueil du propriétaire. Le seul point à améliorer à mon avis serait de proposer des viennoisseries fraiches pour le petit-déjeuner
