an unpleasant experience
We booked total three rooms, and one of them was booked with a King bed. By the way, when we checked in, the receptionist arranged all twin bed rooms for us and said they do not have any emptied King bed room. We requested to re-check the room types in several times, however she answered do not have any options same as before. We called to Hotels.com and complained, then they checked with this hotel actually had a King bed room, just the receptionist personally did not offer us. In the 1:00am, finally they changed the room to King bed type. By the way, to keep the water in a freezer, we opened it found someone remaining foods in their. When we checked out, complained and they refund 50% of the amount for a room. Hope it would not be happened again.

The rooms need an update. Our toilet kept running. The bathroom paint was chipping. The hot water leaked around the sink knob. The biggest issue was the dog which barked throughout the night and into the morning. We told the staff but the barking continued.

Property was pretty and the pool was nice but the room need a little tlc. Clean but the bathroom cabinet was broke and there was gum in the carpet

This is my favorite hotel in the Henrietta area. It is the best hotel I've stayed at when at RIT. The hotel itself is very nice. Rooms as comfortable. The breakfast is great. Close to RIT and shopping. Lots of dining options. Never a problem.

The hotel is clean and in decent condition. Enjoyed having a morning cup of coffee in the lovely atrium. The rooms are minimalistic but clean. Leave yourself plenty of time when taking the elevator, there are only two and they move very slowly.

Reservation flaw
The front desk refused to charge separately or send information on the booking upon arrival, even when the "pay on site" option was taken in the beginning from hotels.com Called in again to have any information for billing as it was for business travels but nothing was received, unlike what was told over the phone. Basically a pingpong between hotels.com and the hotel itself.

Disappointed customer.
I was unpleasantly surprised at the condition, although the customer service was awesome i was very disappointed with the overall condition of the place, the carpet was odorous, my room door had to be forced shut d/t it sagging, the bathroom vent fan didn't work and the toilet went down very very slow, most times flushing it twice.

Food and pool is good, bed is bad
Amazing pool and good food. Unfortunately the bed is too small for two people and the bed was not even, had back pain for next day because of the bad bed. Unfortunately the hotel person was not helpful

The hotel was decent but there was a huge mold problem in the bathroom because it has no ventilation. The front desk staff needs DEI training and Hotels.com needs to better vet their local partner hotels. I was told the rooms booked by hotels.com were not given the same accommodations as if booked directly via the Hilton. I was sorely disappointed.

We loved the DoubleTree! Great location and walkable to many eating establishments. Also the shuttle takes you further if needed! We will definitely stay here again!
