The room had a great view out to the beach with a couple outdoor chairs. Very quiet. Did not hear any of our neighbors and the hotel appeared to be full. Wish the fireplace had been working.

The location is superb. The cost for the ocean view is worth it every time! Parking is easy and secure. We love staying at The Tradewinds. When Neal (the owner) has his flower baskets up, there is no prettier location between Canon Beach and Newport.

The man at the desk was very friendly and we had a nice discussion about the weather comparison between Oregon and our home state. Our room was right on the beach; we had a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was clean and water pressure was great from a double shower head! Parking was close and we felt very safe.

The entire stay was very nice. Parking was convenient. Registering was a breeze with staff very pleasant. Room was clean with a view to die for. Some things in the room needed upgrading ( paint was chipping in some areas and toilets need to be upped to 17-19 inches) but overall…….9/10!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at the Tradewinds Motel in Rockaway Beach! If you are looking for fancy and exclusive...look elsewhere. If you are looking for an incredible location (steps from the beach), clean rooms and linens, handy room amenities such as a stove/oven, microwave and mini-fridge, knowledgeable and friendly staff (Front Desk especially) AND won't break the budget..... Tradewinds Motel is for you! We will definately be back! Thanks for the great get-away!
