Parking was very nice and the rooms very clean and set up nice, kinda hard for older people if they are set up on second floor no elevator but overall great place to stay. 10 min max drive to all the stores and places to eat.

Fire alarm woke me up to the fact that this was the worst breakfast I’ve seen at a place that claims to serve breakfast. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful about our wonky changes to the reservation. They worked with us and were nice about it.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. However, the shower pressure was horrible, pool was over chlorinated and cold. The breakfast offereings were a basic grab and go, plus cereal.

The hotel was very clean. We rarely saw any one at the front office. Had to use the phone to get someone. The continentil breakfast was Not good. Eggo waffles, pop tarts, Pkg oatmeal, toast. The eggo waffles were on a plate in the small fridge. Coffee weak and not marked. Had no idea if it was regular or decaf. Knowing this one can know to buy breakfast. There's a nice restaurant not to far away. Sams family dining,the food was Never a disappointment. Super 8 was Very clean, outside and inside.There was a extra deposit of 60 dollars in case one broke something. Easy excess to I88 a plus

State Comp for cheer and I needed to be there all four days w my daughters. Location is right off the highway and about 5 mins from NIU. We had a great stay, kids enjoyed it. 1 did the king size room and we all fit with space still on the bed..

The overall property was nice, clean and accessible. However I do not recommend staying on the 1st floor. If you do. Prepare to sleep with ear muffs and forget if you have work to do in your room. As some upstairs guest can be very noisy as you hear everything above you. When you tell the front desk. They. Basically tell you to deal with it.

You get what you pay for

Pet fee is $15 per day. There's a $60 deposit that's refunded as long as there are no damages. I've stayed at this location twice for the pet option and price. For the most part, the place is relatively quiet even with pets allowed. Plenty of grass for dogs to do their business. Most people seem to pick up after their dogs, but there are a couple who don't, and no one else goes out there to clean up after them. I haven't come across any bed bugs, and the rooms haven't smelled like other dogs. The beds aren't that comfortable and the breakfast is definitely not worth trying, but you get what you pay for. The female employees I've spoken to on the phone or in person have exceptional customer service. There is one male employee that gives me creeper vibes. Like 'install a 2-way mirror and watch you from behind the walls' kind of vibes, but I've only seen him there one night. It's close enough to the downtown area and NIU.

The staff was over the top accommodating. The mattresses were very comfortable. Breakfast; we left to go eat. The coffee was weak, only milk for creamer We really liked the quiet location. We came to DeKalb for a cousin’s funeral service.
