Thank you for staying with us. and your nice review. Your room was a standard smaller room in our main house with a walk-in shower that had a step-in like a shower/bathtub combo would of. If you had mobility concerns like stepping into a shoer I would recommend checking with the hotel in advance to let us know! As far as your door if you would have closed the door behind rather than pay with the lock mechanism there would have not been any issue. The coffeemaker worked just fine if you would follow the directions right on the machine. I'm glad you enjoyed breakfast and probably would have enjoyed your room more if you had made a reservation for a larger room! with a shower that would have been better for your circumstances.

You booked a standard room with a garden view and were upgraded to a partial ocean view room with a shared balcony and a recently fully recently updated bathroom. If you would have read the room description you should of probably booked a larger room. Its great to hear you liked my great staff!

Thank you for staying with us. You booked 3 rooms. They were all categorized as standard room garden view. Where in that title indicates you were getting an ocean view that you expected? As for the room condition, your rooms were all put together in our Bulfinch House an 1840 Victorian home where most of our standard rooms are located. All 3 of your rooms had ocean views from across the street and the bathrooms were refurbished last year with new showers, tile floors, and lighted mirrors. Perhaps you should have booked directly or at least booked a superior ocean view room which were more expensive and much larger which would have given you the ocean view you were expecting.

I am glad to hear you enjoyed the views at the inn. The rooms that are standard are smaller rooms in older Victorian houses. Perhaps you should of considered booking an ocean view room which would of been much larger!

The Yankee clipper does have 3 different houses and our standard rooms have queen sized beds and are located throughout the 3 houses. Perhaps next time you visit you should book directly with the inn and get a king-sized bed which will be better for someone as tall as you.
