i had stay in there one night. step was very kind. if u check in after 13:00, send a email. then they will waiting for u before u are arrive. if there's anything u need, u can send a email, too. answer is really fast.

i've stayed here before in 2015 and decided to stay here again for our recent trip. unfortunately the receptionist girl was the rude and not welcoming at all, which overall ruined our stay in rome. room and breakfast were minimal and location also a bit off the main attraction.

Perfetto per visita a San Giovani in Laterano
Servizio, camera, e prezzo giusto. Il colazione e sempre disponibile, ma è tutto confezionato. Comodo ma non è un colazione con brioche dal forno/ salumi freschi/frutta ecc. Ma il caffè sempre disponibile era bellisimo! Tutto buono e cosigliamo di sicuro! Giorgia era gentile e tranquila.

Great value and great location
It starts with the most warm and friendly staff who welcome you and will go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Rooms are basic but very clean, could do with a mirror other than the small one above the sink in room 1. Place is very secure from outside. Easy access to metro station only minutes walk. Great base for exploring all that Rome has to offer. 😀😀😀

Goede locatie voor stedentrip!
Wij zijn 4 dagen naar Sleeping Beauty geweest voor een stedentrip. De eigenaar was erg aardig en heeft ons veel verteld over wat we in de omgeving konden doen en welke restaurants leuk waren om heen te gaan, etc. De kamer was prima, werd elke dag goed schoongemaakt. Ik had alleen niet goed gelezen en 3 van de 6 kamers deelden een badkamer en wc. Hier waren wij er één van. Op zich niks mis mee, want ook dit werd goed schoongemaakt, maar als je dit niet wilt kijk dan even goed dat je een kamer boekt waar een badkamer bij zit. Verder had iedereen nog beschikking over een soort keukentje, erg handig om te ontbijten. De ligging was ook top, te voet was je binnen 20 minuten bij het Colloseum en binnen 5 minuten bij de Underground. Tip: wil je Vaticaanstad bezoeken, boek dan van tevoren online om de rij te omzeilen.

Amazing service
The place was nice and clean. What stood out what the amazing service! Highly recommend it. Easy to jump on the bus or metro from there. Easy walk to the Colosseum.

Erg gastvrije en vriendelijke ontvangst met vele tips voor bezienswaardigheden en elke vraag wordt uitgebreide beantwoord en toegelicht. Centraal gelegen met metro vlakbij. Enige nadeel is dat de bedden met spiraal erg hard sliepen.

Me parecio una experiencia maravillosa! El hotel esta super bien ubicado, muy cerca del metro ( 2 cuadras) y caminando al coliseo, cerca de restaurantes locales muy ricos. Danilo quien nos recibio es todo un caballero, nos explico todo de manera muy clara, nos ayudo con dudas le doy un 10 de calificacion. El hotel tiene cocina con lo necesario y en la habitacion un frigo. Muy buena experiencia! Seguro regresaria.

First Rome vacation
We were very happy with this hotel and felt safe. Danilo met us after regular hours for checking in, and was extremely helpful, pointing us to nearby restaurants etc. We loved the ancient elevator. The bed was more comfortable than more expensive places where we stayed in Turkey and Greece, but we still missed our comfy bed at home. Hope to come back one day.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in Rom, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist nicht mitten in der Stadt, aber ist trotzdem zentral genug, um schnell an die ersten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen. Die Metro ist auch direkt vor der Tür. Der Besitzer ist absolut nett und ein Gespräch für kleinere Tipps lohnt sich immer. Sehr netter Gastgeber! Wasser gibt es umsonst und auch alles, was das Herz begehrt an Küchenutensilien. Das Zimmer ist sauber und nett eingerichtet. Das Bad (auf dem Zimmer) ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und kleineren Schmutzablagerungen. Aber als Übernachtungsgelegenheit absolut in Ordnung und weiter zu empfehlen.

C'était notre dernière nuit à Rome et nous cherchions un endroit pour passé une bonne nuit avec un petit budget. Et bien, cet endroit était tout indiqué. Le personnel était hyper sympathique et la chambre était propre et très confortable!

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollen Mitarbeitern
Schon im Vorfeld fand viel Kontakt per Mail statt, da wir eine späte Ankunft und dann auch noch Verspätung hatten. Mails wurden stets schnell und freundlich beantwortet und der doch recht späte Empfang war sehr nett. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit und man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte eine Klimaanlage, wofür wir während der sehr heißen Tage in Rom dankbar waren. Es war ruhig und entspannt, also ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Le personnel est très serviable surtout le monsieur nommé "Paolo" il nous a beaucoup aider que se soi des conseils sur les restaurants ou même les endroits à visiter et les moyens de transports .... Praktisch gelegenes, einfach aber geschmackvoll eingerichtetes B&B von dem man aus in nördlicher Richtung alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms fußläufig in für uns kurzer Zeit erreichen kann. Direkt um die Ecke ist San Giovanni, der ehemalige Papstsitz von Rom und die Scala Santa. Nette Einweisung vom Betreiber, wenn auch ein Tip fürs Essen nicht so toll war (Qualität). Tip: Die Metrostartion der M Linie ist zwar direkt um die Ecke, wir empfehlen aber die Taxinutzung, da die Preise vergleichsweise moderat sind und man mehr von der Stadt sieht (bei uns immer ca. 10 - 12 EUR aus dem Zentrum von Rom zum B&B). Die Metro war bei unserem Besuch in der Hauptreisezeit insbesondere zu den Stoßzeiten so voll, das man kaum zusteigen kann. Wenn Metro, dann nur Einzelfahrten zahlen - ein 24h/48H Ticket lohnt sich nach unserer Erfahrung selten.

V hotelu jsme strávili 5 nocí. Ochotný personál, majitel poradil kam jít na jídlo, čemu se vyhnout, na co si dát pozor, poskytl mapu Říma. V hotelu bylo čisto, každý den čisté ručníky. Wi-Fi. Od hotelu 5 minut na metro, 15 minut ke Koloseu. Pro kuřáky k dispozici balkon, pro ty, kteří si chtějí vařit - vybavená kuchyně. Pokud bych znovu jela do Říma, využila bych tento hotel. Za 2 lůžkový pokoj 55 eur/noc.

Este no es un hotel es un hostal con precio de hotel, el baño es compartido a 15 metros del cuarto, está ubicado por la puerta de Gianmarco, en donde empieza la zona turística de Roma, zona peligrosa, es muy caro para lo que ofrece, nada recomendable como hotel.

Sightseeing trip
We had never been to Rome before and seen a great deal online, with this guesthouse. As it was such a great price, I was a little hesitant about what the guesthouse would be like. I needn't had worried. It was fab. We were greeted by the owner (I failed to get his name) he checked us in promptly and then got to the main thing - the real Rome experience. He gave us a map and showed us where and where not to go, so we didn't get ripped off. The room was fab and the location was perfect, we walked to the Collesseum in 10-15 minutes if you wanted to take the metro, it's only a 5 minute walk. Would definitely go back and would also recommend to other couples or friends who were looking for a place to stay in Rome.

Better than expected
The only reason i do not give this a five star overall reservation is because of the front desk hours of operations which if i remember correctly cease after about 2p give or take. But in all fairness if you need to check in late then they will work with you to get back in your room. And it's also somewhat difficult to locate if you do not know in advance that it is on the second floor of the address which looks like a regular apartment building once you get there. Fortunately enough i read previous reviews which made me aware of this in advance. Otherwise you're on your own after hours. But aside from that all basic necessities are available to you including a communal kitchen for everyone's use. I noticed communal bathrooms as well but fortunately i reserved the room with it's own bathroom which was even more beneficial for me. The location was great as we had easy access to all local public transportation and even walked to the Colosseum from where we were located. And for the money I can't complain at all, it worked out very well for us and i intended on utilizing them again on my next visit to Rome. The room was also very clean upon arrival.

Wouldn't stay again
I was a little bit disappointed in our stay after reading all the good reviews. I did not sleep well because the rooms are not very sound proof and we could hear people coming and going at all hours of the night. On two of the 5 days we were there there were smokers staying there and every time they would have a smoke it would fill the main hallway with cigarette smoke, which was very unpleasant. On the plus side, the staff was great. They were very welcoming and gave great advice and where to go and what to see in Rome.

Very Basic
The hotel is basically renting a room from someone. The staff is VERY friendly and willing to help you in any way possible- but the actual hotel is kind of lack luster. Our room was just that - a room, with two single beds stuck together to appear as a queen sized bed. This method didn't work very well...There was no A/C, which was no problem, other then the fact that a putrid smell would waft in the window in the morning that gave you the feeling you were in the sewer. Our bathroom was down the hall, it smelt so bad. It wasn't particularly clean, though the cleaning person came and cleaned it everyday. Can't say I would stay here again...

This hotel was bad. Our room had wall paper that was pealing. Room felt dirty. Shower not hot. We were in Italy, Israel, Jordan and Palestine, this was our worst room. Would never recommend this hotel.

Great Place
The hotel was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful suggesting local restaurants and ways to get around in addition catering to your every need. The location is also very ideal being a 5 minute walk to a metro as well as bus's/tramways. NOTE: If you are a light sleeper this hotel might not be for you. It can be very loud at night as you can hear the tramway and many ambulances driving by. Regardless, the overall quality of the hotel and its staff are top notch.

La personne de l'accueil est très serviable, toujours prêt à rendre service, donner des renseignements, faire des réservations ... Le guest house est plutôt bien situé : tout prêt du métro San Giovanni, d'une gare de bus et taxi, à 15 mn à pied du Colisseum.

We enjoyed our stay at Sleeping Beauty. Everything was great except we would have preferred a softer bed (it was like a rock). Overall, it was good, the front desk guy (Luca) was very accommodating with our late check in.

Hotellissa oli vain 5-6 huonetta ja osassa oli yhteinen kph ja wc. Huoneissa ilmalämpöpumppu, jääkaappi, vedenkeitin ja pieni lcd televisio cd asemalla. Sänky oli iso ja mukava. WLAN toimi hyvin.

Excellent hostel
I recommend this place. It's clean, rooms are quite big and comfortable, staff is friendly, flexible and helpful. Best hostel I've stayed in Rome (amonst 4 or 5).
