I was a bit shocked at the interior of the hotel. I felt like I was back at my catholic high school. Nonetheless, it was very clean. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was really nice. Beautiful views in the courtyard area. The only negative thing I can say is that they are renovating the hotel and my beautiful casement window were halted from opening due to a scaffold behind them.

Kényelmes és tiszta
Kicsit messze van a belvárostól, de ettől eltekintve teljesen rendben van. Maga a szálloda jól néz ki, tágas, a személyzet barátságos és segítőkész. A szobák megfelelőek a fürdőszoba is teljesen tiszta volt. A reggeli bőséges, svédasztalos. Összességében nagyon elégedettek vagyunk, visszajönnénk máskor is!

Para quem busca paz em Roma
O hotel é num local mais afastado dos pontos turísticos de Roma. Para chegar ou sair é necessário pegar um ônibus (15 minutos aprox.). Contudo fica numa área muito tranquila que emana paz. Café da manhã muito bom, quarto bem confortável.

Nice hotel with convenient location
I stayed at Villa Monte Mario earlier this week for 2 nights. The hotel is in the Trionfale area providing you with easy access to the city centre by bus and metro. Buses run until 12am. The hotel is clean and fairly quiet, providing you with peace during sleep. The single bed was really uncomfortable and the hotel fails to inform their guests about a €5 charge per night for using the air conditioning remote. This is wrong and the charge is not communicated to guests on their hotel information booklet and at reception. However, the hotel are currently carrying out works to the exterior and so access to the gardens is restricted. I was lucky to have a nice bedroom view of the garden but was disrupted by noise of construction workers in the mid-morning. Only two members of staff spoke good English. The nuns only speak Italian. Breakfast was ok given it is inclusive in the room price. Ideal for those wanting a short stay in Rome and to experience Italy authentically.

Ho prenotato 3 camere per 5 adulti. Ho dovuto psgare per 6 persone adulti. Le camere, a letti separati, ok. Ma la sesta persona non c,'era. Il pagamento di una persona in piu', che non c'era. A dire della recepzion, la camera singola, non era disponibile. La prenotazione, era stata fatta, per 5 adulti. Due coppie ,+ una signora in una singola.

This place has amazing history and is run by nuns. Everything is pretty average but with nuns it is all made special. The 913 & 990 city Buses stop right out front, very convenient. The nuns sell bus tickets Vatican tickets and hop on hop off bus tickets.

Personnel très accueillant, hôtel bien desservi
Hôtel un peu éloigné du centre (compter 20 min de bus + métro selon où vous voulez aller) mais bien desservi avec un arrêt de bus juste devant. Le personnel est très agréable et prêt à aider et renseigner. Bémols, le bruit avec des cloisons très fines entre les chambre et nous avions les volets condamnés par des travaux ce qui ne donnait pas envie de s'éterniser ou se poser un peu dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont sommaires. Bon rapport qualité/prix si votre budget est peu élevé.

Slapen bij de nonnen...
Voormalig opvang- of weeshuis, spartaanse inrichting maar alles zeer schoon. Buslijnen 913 en 990 stoppen voor de deur en brengen je in 20-25 minuten naar het Vaticaan, het centrum of de metro. De buitenzijde staat nu in de steigers (renovatie). Wij verbleven er met 4 personen inclusief ontbijt (eenvoudig) en inclusief airco (5 euro per nacht) voor 57 per nacht in Augustus en dat is een schijntje in vergelijking tot andere accommodaties. Er kan bij de villa geparkeerd worden dus de auto staat er gratis en achter een hek. Zeker een aanrader als je Rome wilt bezoeken, zou het zo weer doen.

Good for good price
Hotel was in reconstruction during our stay, but still nice stay. Everywhere in hotel was clean there, staff was very kind and acommodating. They do not have double bed. Only two-bed rooms. It is far away from city centre (you can go by bus, but aroud hotel there are not anything interesting.) Near to Vatican. But me and my boyfriend were satisfied. 8/10

Nice and quiet hotel. They were renovating when we were there so the gardens and whole back of the hotel was closed. Room was nice and comfortable. Lots of room. Bathroom very clean and spacious. We never tried the breakfast as it was only from around 7-9am and we were too lazy to get up that early. Bad thing was no shower, only bath. The worst thing about this hotel was the heat. It was way way too hot in the rooms as it was over 30 degrees everyday outside. The windows were screwed shut because of construction and there was no air conditioning. They said there is a €5 daily fee for air conditioning, which was only a small fan that was put in the room that did nothing. It was a shame becaus even the location was perfect with a bus literally right outside the gate. It was impossible to sleep in that heat with no air conditioning or air from the windows. Other than that it was value for money.

Grazie per averci detto sinceramente le note negative, stiamo lavorando appunto per inserire l'aria condizionata in tutte le camere, purtroppo durante i lavori si sono rotti gli impianti e le finestre non potevano essere aperte , per ottobre è tutto finito

Nice religious villa to stay in
Great place to stay, but just a warning, it's a catholic villa, something we were not expecting. The breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from! The room wasn't very spacious for 4 people in one room. And the location of the villa, is a little far from the main tourist attractions and will have to take a bus and metro to get to the centre.

Az első meglepetés, hogy egy apáca fogadott. Aki nem beszélt az olaszon kívül semmilyen más nyelvet. A szoba minimál stílus, a reggeli mindennap ugyanaz az egy fajta. Akit nem érdekel a szállás, hanem olcsón akar pár napot a városban tölteni, annek jó, de arr készüljön, hogy jobb ha tömegközlekedik, mivel semmilyen irányban nincs gyalogjárda, kizárólag a nagy fordalmú autó úttesten tud menni.

Bijzonder hotel vlakbij het cemtrum
Het is even wennen als je een standaard hotel verwacht. Maar dit is een klooster dat ook een hotel/hostel is. Er wordt dus wel een bepaalde houding verwacht, niet veel bijzonders, maar je bent rustig en respectvol naar de zusters en de gasten. De nadelen: -gebouw is een klooster, de gangen voelen aan als een ziekenhuis. Relige is het hoofdthema en dat zie je overal in terug -ontzettend moeilijk te vinden, maar het is echt de achter gate (naast een bushalte). Bel aan en het hek gaat open. -kamerindeling is gedateerd Voordelen: -goedkoop -auto staat veilig achter de gate -buslijn 913 brengt je naar het Vaticaan (en dus naar hartje Rome), de kaartjes zijn te krijgen bij de recpetie. -supermarkt op loopafstand -moderne faciliteiten als wifi werken prima -(zeer simpel) ontbijt buffet inbegrepen -behulpzame en goede service van personeel Voor deze prijs ga je echt geen beter hotel vinden die beveiligde parking heeft en zo dicht bij het centrum zit. Laat de auto dan ook gewokn staan en ga met ze bus. Zelfs op zondag gaan die iedere 13 minuten. Ik nam het kloostergebeuren voor lief. Uiteindelijk een mooi verblijf gehad in Villa Monte Mario.

pas cher pour Rome mais difficile à trouver
établissements hôtelier chez les soeurs. Le centre ville de Rome en bus 913 ou 990 en 30 mn avec des bus toutes les 20 mn. Etat propre. Chambre simple mais spacieuse et calme, salle d'eau correcte. Etonnamment buffet pt déjeuner plutôt bien surtout les croissants (jus de fruits industriel). Le gros souci, en arrivant de l'aéroport de Fiumicino, a été de trouver l'adresse que mon GPS n'a pas trouvé. 1h30 pour enfin trouver le portail dissimulé derrière un mur, la galère. On est arrivé de nuit à minuit 30 ! En fait c'est au niveau de la fermata Del autobus Trionfale Calumuccia (faut le savoir). C'est plus simple d'y aller à partir du centre ville. Sinon excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Siamo veramente dispiaciuti dell'accaduto , abbiamo controllato e fatto disinfettare tutto l'albergo, persino le sale in comune ma non abbiamo trovato nessuna cimice nella struttura , non vorrei che l'abbia presa in un'altra struttura visto che le ha trovate nella valigia We are really sorry about what happened, we checked and disinfected the whole hotel, even the rooms in common but we did not find any bugs in the structure, I would not have taken it in another structure since it was found in the suitcase

Am I lost?
The place is run by nuns and they are very nice but they are traditional and several spoke no English. The place has few signs and isn’t perfect for international travelers. No signage either so we weren’t sure we were at the right place for several minutes.

Good morning We are sorry that he could not speak to anyone in English, our staff speak English and French and the nuns speak German and Spanish. I imagine that at that moment he did not meet the English-speaking employees, thanks anyway for his comment Buongiorno Siamo dispiaciuti che non è riuscito a parlare con nessuno in inglese, il nostro personale parla inglese e francese e le suore parlano tedesco e spagnolo.
