"First time for us at this modern hotel and it had everything we needed for a 2 night stay in Liverpool post cruise. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, they gave great local advice. The hotel felt very safe & secure, no one could just wander in. A hotel key card is needed for the doors and elevator. Our room was great, very clean and the bed was so comfortable we slept 12hrs the first night! The room had a mini kitchen, smart tv, huge wardrobe, safe & ironing board. Bathroom was huge but a walk in shower would have been easier for us both. I should have checked. This was a room only basis but there are loads of eateries nearby. Highly recommend The Wreck for breakfast, just 50m away. We would stay at The Resident Liverpool again."

"The was the most hotel-like hotel I stayed at during my trip in UK. What I mean by this is that they had everything in used to in the US. Breakfast, laundry, mini fridge, microwave, etc. The hotel is right in the middle of the city centre so I had no reason to take trains, taxis or buses. But if you really wanted to you could as the entrance to the metro is right in front of the hotel. Restaurants, bars, pubs, convenience stores and shops are all walking distance. Finally, the staff were great at making us feel welcomed and provided us recommendations for our travels and where to watch the MerseySide Derby! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool."
