"I don't usually remember to leave a review, but this was a very excellent hotel. The owners have preserved the historic aspects of the building while thoroughly modernizing the rooms and they are extremely clean. The restaurants are excellent, I ate at Le 9th several times. The location is very quiet and central. The housekeeping was excellent and no matter what time of day I left and took the sign off the door it was clean when I returned, which I did not expect (most US hotels have a set time for cleaning). "

"Large room. Excellent restaurant evidenced by the number of locals who come here to dine as well. Offers spa and massage which is helpful if you are hiking the GR 65 Chemin Saint Jacques. The GR 65 passes right by the hotel. "

"Absolute dump, have to go to different hotel for key. Took one look at room and threw the key in the room without setting foot inside and ran away as fast as possible. CLOSE THIS DUMP DOWN "

"Basic clean room. Ideal location. Perhaps some bottled water would be nice. There are tea making facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again."

"What a wonderful historic building this is. Nice specious courtyard and pool area. Staff was so professional and friendly. Easy to store our bicycles in the parking garage. Comfortable bedding and bathroom. Also the food in this restaurant is excellent. Don’t forget to try the soufflé it’s the best we have had ever! Breakfast great too. Would definitely stay here again as only 2 minute walk from the historic center. "
