"Was not able to stay because we got there at 2 in the morning. The host messaged me that we had to pay taxes by 18:00 or they would not leave us room keys. I didn’t get the message in time and we were left exhausted with no where to go."

The place is nice and quiet. It is not an hotel and could be describe as a cottage or guesthouse. There is no housekeeping during the stay. Most the amenities ( pools, restaurants) described are part of the "hotel de l'ermitage" which is accessible from "les jardins de l'ermitage" if you can walk down a stair and unpaved path down a hill about 100 yards which my 87 year old father couldn't do.
The outdoor pool was still closed even if we stay beginning of Mai. The indoor pool part of the SPA...

This is a rustic property that made us feel as if we were taking a srep back in time - in a good way! Don't expect fancy, but the property was clean, lighting was good, the bed is good as long as you like firm and no fuss (worked for us). Proximity to Moustiers Saint Marie (perhaps our favorite village in Provence), as well as to the Verdon gorge, could hardly be better.

Very nice. Large property, nice pool, cute town with many restaurants.
My only complaint was that our room consisted of two levels and to get to the bed on the top floor or bathroom on bottom floor you had to climb a vertical set of circular stairs which was tedious. I imagine all rooms have a different configuration.

We are very grateful for the warm and kindest hospitality. They made us feel at home and welcomed. The property is so beautiful and the details of the architecture and interior design are well-thought out. The views are serene and therapeutic, we even saw deers through our windows. We drove here and can’t imagine how one would get here without a vehicle as it is quite remote. With the remoteness, comes privacy :) we love this place very much. Breakfast is included also. It was a quaint hotel in a very quiet little village. Great location if your doing the Verdon gorge or surrounding area. Management was helpful and rooms are pretty good size. Parking lot at edge of town.

Wonderful place to stay in Digne. The property is excellent and the staff truly outstanding in terms of care and attention. The amenities are great for couples and families alike. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant, and liked the overall commitment to sustainability.

The hotel is well situated above the city of Manosque, close by car from the center.
The premises are well maintained, the rooms are well appointed. The bed could benefit from a better mattress and one more choice of pillows, but was good. We had a great time would come back and recommend.
