"The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at. The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance. The family who operate the hotel are invested and are a delight"

"Terrific location in the centre of Harlech, really lovely owner, both breakfast and evening meal were excellent, loved my solo traveller stay."

"The cottage is spacious, with a big kitchen and cosy lounge. There are lots of bed options and towels provided. Unfortunately, very basic items like cloths (for cleaning surfaces), dishwasher tablets, and teatowels are not provided, making it difficult to keep everything clean during the stay. In addition, the heating is inadequate, with the thermostat only on at fixed times and the space quickly getting cold again. Thankfully, there were mobile heaters that we were able to keep on in the evenings and during the night."

"The staff were all lovely. There was a Porsche event. We were most definitely ‘extras’ to this event. Breakfast in particular. Couldn’t find our booking? Assumed with Porsche event and once explaining (both mornings) that we were just regular guests we were then sat in a seperate area. Very strange experience . Staff were lovely none the less, John in particular. At arrival, again once explained we were not with the Porsche event, we were told to drive down to the guest car park and the porter would see us to our room. No idea where this porter was? No instructions. Found Elvin at the gate and he kindly called a porter for us. "

"The studio is basic but comfortable and had everything that we needed for the week that we spent there. The owner is friendly and welcoming.  The week we were there was very wet, but we still got out and about to visit the Llanfair Slate Caverns, Harlech Castle, Barmouth, etc.  We also had some lovely long walks and bike rides."

"Beautiful house, finished to a very high standard throughout. Spacious rooms and amazing views. "

"Lovely Property, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Excellent location. The missed point would be the TV, we could not get it to connect to the internet and stream anything. The DVD player was missing the remote control so we couldn’t use that either, we even tried to get an Ethernet cable from the shop but couldn’t. There was a football game the fans wanted to watch one evening. The hosts could do with upgrading to a TV with streaming or ensuring it works. The TV didn’t really effect our stay though and it was very nice and would recommend. "
