โEnjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldnโt have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! โ
โThis place was great, from the property itself to the people that were working. They were so accommodating and kind and interacted with us like theyโve known us forever.โ
โWas exactly what I needed for a solo bday trip to the area. Minimal, friendly, clean. Didnโt mind that itโs obvious the place has been there a while. The parking lot has a huge pothole, which isnโt great. Just drive around it and be grateful for the great price and nature at your doorstep.โ
โEverybody there was so kind the only two bad thing was dust on curtain rail and previous guys body hair in the bath room. But those are nothing my wife and I love this place so much and I am pretty sure we will stay again โ
โMy stay was great, the only problem I had was the bathroom was not the cleanest but I was only staying for one night so it worked fine for me. Then the people that were staying below me were outside very late and talking very loud so that kept me up a little bit but that isnโt the motels fault or the employeeโs fault.โ
โThe Front Desk staff were very helpful and recommended a nice Thai restaurant. The Thai restaurant was great. So appreciative of the help from the hotel staffโ
