A very quaint and charming place in a quiet spot of Sapa. A lovely garden and our host, Năm Hồng was interesting and helpful during our stay. He cooked us a simple meal and his mother was very kind.
Our stay at Sapa Gardens Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of phenomenal!
The family running the place have everything under control and do their utmost to deliver on your every need. From organising last minute early checkin/late checkout, helping us organise trek’s in the rice terraces and Fansipan to playing with our baby and cooking us delicious home cooked Vietnamese food Nam Hong and his family (especially his mother) made us feel comfortable and right at home!
Don’t miss a walk through their beautiful garden and marvel at the amazing architecture and handcraft that has been put into this gem.
We will most definitely visit again!
Thanks to the whole family for making our Sapa visit unforgettable!
Best valuable staying. Such beautiful garden and house. If you wanna relax in front of fire wood, Definitely recommended!!! The family is so nice and helpful. Will visit again.
A wonderful hotel with the most beautiful garden. It was in walking distance to the city, but hidden enough away so that the area was peaceful and quiet. The family was extraordinarily nice and helpful. The food was delicious, some of the best we’ve had in Vietnam. Our room had a balcony with a fantastic view.
Weather great. This accommodation awesome. Beautiful design building and garden. This would have to be the best hotel in Sapa. We rode all around and didn't see any this good. The only thing they need is a separate gate at the other end with a footpath leading down to reception area. This avoids opening the big double gates. Beds are too hard and can't contour to your back. Otherwise everything else great.
Let me just say this is the nicest stay we have had in our many travels. The room was so big and beautifully done, the fireplace completed the welcoming, cozy feeling . I prefer the privacy of this B&B and being just outside of the city center where is so busy and noisy and just a short ride. The owners are so nice and welcoming. Mr Hung speaks English really well and is always willing to help set up a taxi ride, an activity or just answer any questions. His parents run the B&B during the day and are the nicest people. They offer breakfast options and they have been very good. Also if you wish to have dinner there, they’ll cook a Vietnamese dinner with various dishes, all excellent and plentiful for a small charge. Also offer laundry service, so convenient. My favorite part was the heating mattress pad you turn on if is cold and your muscles really thank you after the 7 mile muddy trek through the villages. The grounds are beautiful and well kept with a sense of peace walking in the gardens. I highly recommend it if you want to have a comfortable stay, peaceful setting away from the daily hustle of the city but conveniently located 2 km outside of city center.
Det va supermysigt! Och låg bra till, nära till stan men ändå en liten bit utanför så att man slapp allt tutande i trafiken. Trevlig personal och bra service. Vackert hus och underbar trädgård utanför. Toppenställe!
I need to preface this review by saying that if we hadn’t have been there during Tet, I think our review would be much higher. It’s a gorgeous house and property. Very nice people! However, they took bookings even though they didn’t want to provide their normal services. They only let us know upon arrival that no breakfast or services would be offered. Normally, that would be okay with us, as we consider ourselves very flexible travelers. However, walking 3 miles (about 5km) uphill to get to town (way further than it states), to get to open restaurants was not ideal. Had they simply let us know they wanted to spend their Tet with family, we would have happily booked in somewhere else, as there were other open and fully operating hotels. The manager did “upgrade” our room but unfortunately that didn’t make up for the rest of the stay. Any other time of year, I will give this place the fullest recommendation, but not on Tet.
We had a great time here. The rooms were spacious and the fireplace was perfect for keeping the room warm at night. The family was very nice and accommodating and the food was excellent. The house is located off the main road but tucked away down a hill so it feels very private and peaceful. It’s also just a 10 minute drive to the center of town. 100% recommend.
My boyfriend and I spent two days at the Sapa Garden Hotel. It is a lovely and very well kept place with nice and comfortable rooms and most welcoming hosts who helped uns with all kind of inquiries.
Great stay and we had one of the best order to cook breakfast for our trip in Vietnam. Nice garden and spacious room allow you to just stay in and relax. The staff do not speak English but the owner is a call away which is helpful. The fan in the room is making quite some noise and TV doesn't work in the room.
The hotel staff are all very friendly. However, most of the staff and the parents of the hotel owner doesn't speak English.. Therefore, it can be quite a problem communicating with them. But, the hotel owner is just a phone call away, so it's still quite OK.
The room that we stayed in is quite spacious. But some of the amenities does not work. Examples are the heater in one of the bathroom does not work.. And the cable TV doesn't work too...
All in all, the hotel is up to standard. With a big garden behind the hotel!
We had an enjoyable stay with Mr Pham! The bedroom was cozy and nice!! In love with the interior and exterior of the house. And more of it, we felt truly taken care when Mr Pham helped us to arrange the bus to pick us up from the B&B and even ensured that we managed to get into the bus! That's truly very nice of him!
It takes a lot of effort and passion to maintain such a beautiful garden too! Overall, it was great and worth the stay :)

Disliked: Room comfort
noisy and in your face
the room was spacious and clean but the hotel is situated on the main road into Sapa, pigs are fighting at night and construction projects wake you up at 6:30AM, We had dinner one night and the food mom cooks is plain and tasteless. Fried and greasy.
Had a pleasant stay.
Lovely private property - something different from a normal hotel.
Location is out of town which can be inconvenient at times - 20 minute walk or a taxi which is cheap enough.
Rooms are clean and comfortable & the oldies who live at the property are helpful despite the limited English & the owner is only a quick phone call who speaks fluent English.
Would recommend to others.
Sapa bed and breakfast is very homey. Your surrounded by beautiful green gardens and it's very peaceful and relaxing. Owned by a family they look after you very well. The owner speaks great English which makes it easy when booking tours or buses.
You can walk to de downtown. The hotel is very familiar and the owner is very kind. You need to take out your shoes like orietal style. I really recommend this place if you want be relax
