A stunningly beautiful area and property. We had a lovely tour of the museum and winery with a wine tasting immediately after the tasting. We stayed 2 nights and both breakfast and dinner were delicious!

Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay.

Fabulous location.

Very good hotel in a superb location with excellent staff. Our only complaint is that it was a bit chilly and there was no heat in the bathroom. This is controlled based on the time of year rather than the temperature.

This is a magical and peaceful place high up in the mountains in the Douro Valley. The Quinta is decorated quaintly and the property has multiple seating areas and walking trails in which to enjoy the 360 degree spectacular views of terraced vineyards and the Douro River. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food and wine is delicious, and oh ... did I mention the views! Treat yourself to splurge in this special place!

Simply Beautiful.

Very beautiful and relaxing location. The pool and views were incredible. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Overall a wonderful stay. It is about halfway between peso de régua and pinhão; about a 40 minute drive from each. The train stop is very close though.

Lovely Quinta for a stop in Douro Valley.

Perfect place for a Douro Valley stop. Very quaint, lots of charm, lovely staff, amazing views, nice restaurant with wonderful food. We had a crazy storm come in so we weren’t able to enjoy the pool and outside eating as much as we’d have liked. The wine tasting tour left much to be desired so I wouldn’t go there just for that.

Beautiful property! Staff was amazing! Without a car there are limited locations for lunch and dinner off-property. The menus do not change day to day on site. Therefore after a few days we were ready for some new food options. Very peaceful setting and a lovely way to start our Portugal vacation.

Vinícola muito elegante. O quarto com decoração muito elegante, super confortável, banheiro grande. Lindas vistas para o Douro. Muita paz e silêncio. Restaurante de alta qualidade. Incrível! O clima frio deixou a estadia ainda mais acolhedora. Intimista, com lugares apropriados para reunir os amigos e olhar o luar, a paisagem, o rio Douro. A equipe é sensacional, faz do local algo muito melhor. O café da manhã e o jantar servidos no restaurante foram experiências memoráveis. Chuveiro, cama excelentes. Roupa de cama e banho, roupão, manta para poder ficar na varanda observando o vinhedo à noite. Cada detalhe e cada recadinho colocado no quarto nos fez sentir importantes. Superou todas as expectativas. Hotel para quem quer visitar, se hospedar ou só fazer as refeições. Agende antes. Tem loja de vinhos e artesanato, degustação, uma igrejinha linda! Vamos voltar!
