Staffs were very kind. Especially the lady at front desk cleaned my credit card before handing it over to me while check in.

Beautiful place to stay, lots of atmosphere, Mississippi Steamboat theme. The food and drinks were the best, excellent chefs, and bar tenders! Sacramento River side rooms are comfortable. Needs more air circulation in the rooms to cool them off after a warm, moist day. Seals have invaded a dock across the river from the Delta King. They are nocturnal animals and begin to bark at about 8:00 pm and finally quiet down about 5:00 am. Delta King provides ear plugs, some help. Recommend rooms on the Pier side of the ship. No view, but quieter. I would stay there again!

We came for a concert at the Golden 1 Center and it was a perfect location. We walked everywhere. The staff was awesome. Also loved the novelty of the ship, would definitely stay again.

Really different location and property well kept if looking a little worn in places. Food very good. Service in the evening was excellent. Unfortunate noise coming from proximity to rail line not helpful if you are a light sleeper but bigger issue (and not the hotels fault) are the sea lions on the opposite which bark all night. The combination of a the sea lions and the trains throughout the night very unfortunate as rooms are by no way sound proof.

We wanted to stay somewhere a bit different and couldn’t have picked a better spot than this floating hotel. It has character by the bucketload and you couldn’t ask for a better location - right on the doorstep of the historic quarter. The room we had was small but that is a reflection of the unique and historic nature of the vessel. Absolutely no problems at all. We only stayed for one night as we were heading away by train to New York, but facilities are again limited by the vessel. We loved having the historic quarter just a stroll away. The staff were great and even though we arrived many hours before our official check-in, they upgraded our room so we could settle in and relax straight away. We have already recommended this hotel to friends….

I enjoyed my stay on the Delta King . Food was great try the Ribeye best I have ever had . I slept good at night . The best part was we didn’t have to leave Old town Sacramento so much going on. The rooms were nice.

We were there for my husbands birthday. It is a quaint 1920's boat - that provides a unique experience. Please dont expect the frills that you might get at another hotel, and there are no mini fridges or microwaves. There is a coffee maker. The deluxe room and bathroom is large and comfortable. The staff are wonderful and accommodating and try to see to your needs. The food at the restauraunt on site is very good and the outdoor seating, watching seals and boats is pleasurable. Parking is not convenient, but we made it work. We discovered that the parking meters can be controlled using the "ParkMobile" App. It can be controlled from wherever you are, even from another part of the city. While the meters say 2 hour limit, we were able to renew our time, on app, three or four times. Staying on the boat and being able to walk Old Sac to shop and visit a number of restaurants is great. We were also able to take is a minor league baseball game at the stadium just down the street from Old Town. Staying on the Delta King was truly a great experience.

If you are scent sensitive this is not the hotel for you. The cleaning supplies used to clean the room are very strong and pungent, the window do not open so there is no way to air out the room, other then leaving the door open. Aside from that the hotel is amazing. The location is great. We ate breakfast in the boat and the food was decent

It was a wonderful opportunity to sleep on a historic boat within steps of Old Sacramento. The room was beautiful with views on two walls of the water. The rooms couldn’t have been cleaner or better maintained. We could hear and the sea lions from our room. Dinner was expertly made and refreshing to have a skilled meal while traveling. We chose valet and it was well worth it.

One of our two rooms was quite dusty. There are gaps in the doors and every time someone else in the hallway closed their door ours would rattle loudly. Upon our arrival the regular front desk person was training another. That’s great, but the experienced one said to us upon our turn at the counter “I need your ID.” Nothing in the way of hello or welcome in.

This was one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed! What’s unique experience! Rebecca at the registration desk was so wonderful, both helpful and kind, going above and beyond for us!!! The room was clean and very cool! The experience being on the Delta King was amazing! The sea lions outside our room were an added bonus!! We are at the Pilothouse restaurant and the food was some of the best we’ve ever had!! We can’t wait to stay again and for longer to thoroughly explore this fantastic area! Thanks Rebecca!!! This wasnt just a hotel, it was an experience. Very cool to stay on an old paddlewheel boat. Dinner was excellent, steaks, salad, drinks and desert were all good with great service. View of the river at sunset was awesome. Loved the experience and will definitly be back.

Delta King is a boat that was in operation from Sacramento to San Francisco back in 1927, the boat has been preserved with all original decoration and it feels like tour traveling back to those timen when the only way to get to San Francisco was either by boat or by train since the Golden Gate Bridge or any other hadn’t been built yet.

We love this place! The manager, Apple, made sure we had everything we needed, and helped us add an extra night to our trip. The server in the restaurant was so cheerful and I loved her! Also, the riverboat/hotel itself is just sO cooL. Overall, fantastic experience.

The Delta King is historically amazing! The room was utmost adorable. I felt so comfortable & very cozy. Loved hearing the wildlife around the area as well. The staff was amazing and the valet services were amazing. They work very hard.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful. You get to sleep on a boat! They had a bartender that almost ruined it for us. She was rude to us, other customers and staff.
