This hotel is across the street from a large homeless encampment, and when we arrived they did not have a room with 2 queen beds available, even though that’s what I booked and our family needed. My son was scared to be on the first floor because of tons of homeless people walking around, but staff initially ignored this valid discomfort. Not a place to stay when you travel with small kids! After a movie at night, they DID have the room available on the second floor. There was hair in the shower and on the comforter in one of the beds. The sausage and potatoes were cold during breakfast. Overall, this was an unusually terrible stay in a beautiful and stylish hotel.

The breakfast is awesome. The rooms are clean and updated. It's very close to the university and a great choice when coming to visit the school. Definitely would recommend.

I just want to say that this property went above and beyond for my wife and I. We had to travel to Sacramento for an unfortunate death in the family. They allowed us to check in six hours early so that we could immediately go over to the hospital to say our goodbyes. They also let us check out late and I really just want to thank them for bending over backwards for us during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody the customer service is top-notch. Very responsive to any request, they supplied us with paper and pen for all the notes we needed to take, the breakfast was delicious every morning. Again we want to thank all the staff at the hotel for just being top notch.

The breakfast setup was awesome/best part. The bed was hard and we woke you up every 30 minutes. It had annoying squeaky springs. So every time you turned you woke yourself or your partner up.
