Great value, character, good sized aaccommodation

Very good value, the triple room was a good size and clean. The window was jammed but we freed it with a screwdriver. Shower head unit spraying at the wrong angle due to odd fitting. We were originally incorrectly given a double but this was remedied quickly. Lovely fresh bread for breakfast, although it would have been good to have a cereal/fruit option. Overall a good stay.

Wonderful place and unique. The owners are very very nice and try to help you in any way. We love Nadine. She was so nice with us. We would come back in a minute! I recommend this unique place.

Welcome was good. Room was clean & comfortable. Hotel convenient for town. In room 3 the noisy from the plumbing - after other residents had used the shower or toilet the noise woke us up.

Mauvaise surprise.

Nous avions cru réserver une PRESTATION HOTELIERE normale sur un site dédié à cette fin (Hotels.com), ce qui ne fut absolument pas le cas : aucun accueil physique à notre arrivée le soir du mardi 29/10 (la responsable nous informant qu'elle se trouvait alors à Bourges, un numéro de code nous a donc été communiqué par téléphone pour pénétrer dans l'établissement et accéder à nos chambres), aucun responsable et/ou préposé présent sur place durant la nuit, pas d'eau chaude dans les chambres ; aucun affichage réglementaire. La responsable est finalement arrivée le lendemain matin, mercredi 30/10, pour nous servir le petit-déjeuner, un premier échange avec elle pour nous apprendre qu'elle connaissait des difficultés dans l'exploitation de cet établissement ... A notre retour en fin d'après-midi, le mercredi 30/10, le service de chambre n'avait pas été fait (draps non changés, aucun nettoyage des chambres laissées dans le même état qu'à notre départ le matin !). Nous avons alors eu une dernière conversation avec la responsable pour lui indiquer que nous interrompions notre séjour chez elle et étions à la recherche d'un véritable hôtel, échanges de propos sur un ton plutôt " désagréable " de sa part. Nous avons alors appris de cette personne que l'hôtel venait d'être mis en liquidation judiciaire !! Avant de quitter les lieux, il ne nous a pas été permis d'obtenir une facture après règlement. C'est donc, vous l'aurez aisément compris, un endroit à éviter.

Hôtel atypique un peu désuet situé dans une ancienne tourelle dans le centre ville de St Amand Montrond. Malheureusement les inconvénients l'emportent sur les atouts : chambre située sous les toits non climatisée donc irrespirable l'été, WC bruyants, douche peu pratique et situation en face d'un bar où les clients se font entendre dès 8h le matin.
