The Kamooks are very comfortable and warm given the negative degree weather we had! Staff is always nice and friendly, even to those of us who do not speak french well (or at all). Dining options are busy on the weekend, so get a reservation or get in early. Area is beautiful and a great skiing and snowmobile destination. We have made this an annual trip and look forward to continuing in the future!

Great property overall. Limited supplies such as garbage bags or recycling bags. (No extras) We were told no coffee and filters but there was some on arrival. Also only 2 towels and there were 4 but we brought some in case. Would suggest you bring your own pillows and an extra blanket.

Bonjour, Nous avons rĂ©servĂ© la yourte Orange en fin de semaine et nous avons Ă©tĂ© malheureusement vraiment pas satisfait de l'hĂ©bergement... PremiĂšrement, la salle de bain n'Ă©tait pas accessible de la yourte directement (la toilette sĂšche) , la porte Ă©tait barrĂ© donc il fallais toujours faire la marche de 10min aller/retour pour aller au toilette mĂȘme dans la nuit. DeuxiĂšmement, on n'avait pas l'eau courante ni le lavabo connecter pour le renvoie dans la yourte pour faire la vaisselles, se laver les mains, se laver le corps etc... *Si les travaux dans l'hĂ©bergement n'Ă©tait pas complĂ©tĂ©s, on aurait aimĂ© ĂȘtre avisĂ© parce qu'on aurait rĂ©servĂ© ailleurs. De plus, on Ă©tait la seule yourte Ă  ne pas avoir de BBQ sur le patio et je finis en suggĂ©rant d'installer d'autres moustiquaires pour laisser passer l'air car en pĂ©riode de chaleur, le petit ventilateur ne suffit absolument pas. J'aimerais avoir un dĂ©dommagement s'il vous plaĂźt. Merci

Je vous met en contexte, nous nous somme fait payer 3 nuits dans une yourte pour notre lune de miel par notre famille et je crois qu'il n'avait pas compris qu'il y a deux catĂ©gories de yourte, la bonne (kamook), et la pas bonne (yourte). Nous nous sommes retrouvĂ© dans une yourte avec les murs bleu claire a l'intĂ©rieur, pourquoi gĂącher le cachait du bois en mettant une couleur aussi agressante... la voiture ne se rendait pas Ă  la yourte, pour 4 jours nous avions besoins de beaucoup de choses donc le transport des bagages Ă  pied avec les chariots tout brisĂ© dans la boue et la slush depuis la bĂątisse principale m'a fĂąchĂ©, la toilette sĂšche Ă©tait condamnĂ© et pleine de caca, pas d'eau courante, il y avait de la nourriture sur la table, pas de causeuse comme on voyait sur les photos, le frigo Ă©tait sale, le lit double Ă©tait trop court et nos pieds dĂ©passaient, le lit simple etait un matelas en mousse trĂšs mĂ©diocre, on avait l'impression d'ĂȘtre dans une cabane plutĂŽt que dans une yourte et ce n'Ă©tait pas reprĂ©sentatifs des images sur le site internet. Breff nous ne voulions pas dormir une seule nuit dans ses conditions , une chance que nous avons pu faire affaire avec le bossboy du bistro Ă  cĂŽtĂ© pour un surclassement dans une kamook toute Ă©quipĂ©e, moyennant 480$ de plus bien sĂ»r... mais pour sauver nos vacances en amoureux, ça en a voulu la peine! Rien Ă  dire sur la Kamook, tout Ă©tait propre et reprĂ©sentatif des images sur le site internet contrairement Ă  la petite yourte.

La plaque chauffante ne fonctionnait pas avec la poĂȘle, il manquait des items essentiels selon moi, ex: essuie tout, spatule cassé  mais sinon j’ai bien aimĂ© l’expĂ©rience et l’environnement. Je n’hĂ©siterai pas de le recommander et d’y retourner!

Je crois que l’hĂ©bergement paraĂźt mieux en photo. Il n’y avait pas d’eau courante et pas de plaque pour cuisiner. Donc, pour les repas c’est Ă  prĂ©voir. La bulle du dessus Ă©tait recouverte de neige, donc on avait pas la vue tant dĂ©sirĂ©e sur les Ă©toiles.

Un bel hĂ©bergement super bien situĂ©, le set up est parfait avec un paysage magnifique. Les douches et salles de bain Ă©taient super propre. La Yourte Bistro et la Yourte cafĂ© sont super. Si vous dĂ©sirez un sĂ©jour autonome et original, c’est l’idĂ©al. Par contre, chemin difficile d’accĂšs en hiver. Ma voiture n’a pas Ă©tĂ© capable de monter la cĂŽte enneigĂ©e pour se rendre lors d’une tempĂȘte et pourtant j’ai un VUS. PrĂ©voir de l’eau, couvertures, vaisselle et vĂȘtements chauds car les commoditĂ©s sont limitĂ©s.

Propreté du bloc sanitaire exceptionelle! Les instructions pour l'opération du poele à granules étaient nulles. On a du se faire aider par d'autres touristes. Mais ca a fini par fonctionner, j'ai trÚs bien dormi.
