Fantastic experience at a gorgeous chateau! Pros: • Stunning, eel maintained property with courteous staff and excellent service. • Beautiful rooms—the balcony had incredible vineyard views. • World-class spa treatments (some of the best I've ever had!). • Great location near Saint-Émilion with e-bike rentals and a hotel shuttle. • Easy day trips to Bordeaux (45–60 mins away) via hotel-arranged transport. • Gourmet dining on-site. Cons: • Room service options are a bit limited. Tip: Book your restaurant and terrace tables well in advance, especially for weekends. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We had the most perfect stay. The hotel itself, the staff and location were fantastic. We had a dog with us and it was such a nice surprise to find a dog bed and dog bowls in our room and a private patio area. The shuttle service to St Emellion was also great and allowed us to explore without taking the car. Thank you so much!

Stayed as a couple for three nights in September 2026. Beautiful property and great location. Friendly staff, great rooms, wonderful spa, and a great experience. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at this hotel before and were looking forward to returning, but unfortunately the standards have dropped dramatically since our previous visit. For a hotel that markets itself as five-star luxury, the level of service was extremely disappointing. Despite being hotel guests, there was no availability for a lunch table and no availability for spa treatments during our stay. It is difficult to understand how paying guests can be left unable to access the facilities and services that are supposed to be part of the experience. We were in regular contact with the concierge before the stay and it was never mentioned a booking beforehand is required. Breakfast was another major disappointment. One member of our group was pregnant and repeatedly requested eggs to be cooked thoroughly for food safety reasons. Despite making this request multiple times, it was never accommodated. The breakfast offering itself was very basic, with limited choice and poor service throughout. The biggest issue was dinner. It was, without question, the worst meal of our entire trip. We waited almost three hours to receive only a starter and a main course. When the main course finally arrived, it was completely burnt and inedible. There was no sense of urgency, concern, or effort to rectify the situation. What made the experience even more frustrating was the hotel's response to our complaints. Management showed little interest in addressing the issues raised and offered no meaningful reso

It’s a beautiful property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was very good. They do not provide much in the way of toiletries. They charge for using a bicycle. I have eaten dinner in the main dining room and the meal was excellent. Hiwever, I was unable to get into the dining room this time and dined at the bar, outside. We both ordered a steak and potato meal that followed a simple and delicious salad. Unfortunately, we both found our two a steaks, cooked à point ( medium rare) tough, gristly, and almost inedible. We each left two thirds of the beef uneaten. Such a disappointment.

I was so excited to stay at this hotel and admittedly had high expectations. The hotel itself is gorgeous, breath-taking even. It's incredibly well-kept, surrounded by gorgeous vineyards, the room was spacious with views overlooking vineyards, the pool clean, the restaurant was beautiful. We loved taking the bikes out and riding through the vineyard backroads to visit multiple wineries and the location itself is only a 5 minute drive to town. My call out on this stay was the staff... Now, the restaurant staff were wonderful for the most part, however, when sitting in the lounge area, there were times that it was very difficult to get anyone's attention, even when others around us were being served, several times, taking 40 minutes to just get a drink we'd ordered or even longer to get the bill, even when asked for it 3 times, while the restaurant was sitting empty. The front desk staff were really the biggest issue, they seemed annoyed that we wanted a tour, gave conflicting information and made us feel like we were a bother, the majority of the time. Granted this was not the entire staff, just a select few. But when we pay for a 5 star experience, I come with high expectations to answer questions and ensure we have everything we need... like, food, or the correct hours for the lounge area and snacks vs just the restaurant. That put a damper on the experience as a whole but the property was beautiful.

Excellent beautiful hotel set in a beautiful location surrounded by vineyards. The staff before and during our stay were exceptionally helpful- seeing to every question and helping plan a perfect itinerary and even booking all our activities, they were so friendly. The area is perfect for explore the local area - especially if you hire the local bikes. The outdoor pool was well appreciated and the rooms felt luxurious with beautiful views. The restaurant was good but very expensive, and rather formal dining - it would be good if there was a simpler menu offered for alternative evenings. The hotel seemed to be going through some renovations so there was a lot of construction / painting the hallways during our stay.
