I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. It’s basically really close to Basel-Mulhouse airport and is an inexpensive, no frills place to stay the night before your flight. The St Louis la Chaussee train station is a 5 minute walk away were you can get a cheap return ticket to Basel. It is right next to the A35 motorway but the noise didn’t bother us.
