A great value tourist hotel, at a great location right at the center of Salamanca`s historic quarter. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well furnished. Hotel personel is efficient, friendly and courteous.
Great small hotel, very clean & right on the center of all the attractions, restaurants, & shops. Staff are extremely friendly & helpful. Nice coffee shop right below the restaurant for breakfast & daily coffees. Loved staying at this hotel.
The location of this hotel is perfect for a stay in Salamanca. It is very close to everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options are great, it includes fruit, sweets, ham, etc.
I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, even if they had to deliver news I did not appreciate about their parking not being accessible at the time. I was reimbursed for this expense and received a nice upgrade of the room. Location could not be better and we enjoyed exploring Salamanca's treasures.
Also enjoyed delicious breakfast, highly recommended.
The only complaint is about the room. While the beds were most comfortable and the bathroom nice, clean and spacious, the carpet was dirty and the furniture really outdated. Wish it wasn't so because otherwise this hotel would be perfect.
The staff were wonderful. Aixa at the front desk greeted me when I arrived. She was consistently warm and welcoming throughout my stay. She made me feel at home during my stay. One day I was headed out for a few minutes. She told me it was raining outside and offered me an umbrella, so I wouldn’t have to go back up to my room and get mine. The other staff in the breakfast room and front desk were equally welcoming. The location was AMAZING - twenty five minute walk to the train station in the heart of the historic district. Loved my stay.
Very convinient to get all attractions, near Plaza Mayor. There's underground parking not far from hotel, 13,65 EURO for 24 hours, it is better than to use their small parking not for all cars. The room was big, very clean.
Perfect location, though the parking was a bit of a hike. The evening manager, Giancarlo, was a delight. He gave me all sorts of great information and assistance. My biggest complaint about the room was noise late at night - evidently something in the bathroom was connected to outside, and lots of street noise came in until I closed the bathroom door and it shut out. Also, having an actual chair and desk would have been nice, but the single room didn't have one.
Bring your earplugs! Although very conveniently located with spacious and comfortable rooms and friendly staff, even the double-paned glass couldn’t keep out the sounds of Salamanca’s boisterous nightlife. Also be aware that if you need to park a car, the garage is very, very tight even for just a mid-sized car.
good location, friendly staff, helpful service. The underground parking is free but super super difficult to avoid scratching. we‘d rather pay some $ than damaging the car. Sad!
The room was very small overall. The bed was comfortable. The only window was a small sky light. This particular room is not pictured on the hotel website. Breakfast was good. We added parking and I must say the access to the parking garage was somewhat difficult to find and a bit nerve wracking to navigate through the garage as it was so narrow! Overall, a good one night stay at an appropriate price.
Interesting historic building, great location right next to Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
Pictures of hotel in expedia are a little misleading... rooms were much smaller than they show, same as bathroom. And terrible, terrible parking- truly an afterthought. If you are not used to ultra-small spaces and tight corners do not pay for parking there: it was insanity to find a proper parking space when it was a little full. For $17/day you can go to many other places.
Some receptionists were very friendly and efficient, others do not realize that as a tourist one may not be familiar with the old, one-way streets of old downtown Salamanca. Please train your receptionists to be as clear and detailed as possible when giving directions since the hotel is in a walk-only street, not one with easy access for cars (on top of it the road for cars behind the hotel was cut for works when we arrived!), so we kept being afraid of getting traffic tickets just to leave the suitcases at the hotel.==the entrance has tables in front, making it harder to guess that one can drive right next to it.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The hotel is very well located and the staff was probably the nicest I’ve ever encountered. The woman at the reception spent a long time telling me what to see in the city, and the cleaning lady at my floor was super helpful and cheerful when I had a problem with the hair dryer.
In terms of the room, it was fine and clean. You could tell it was a bit weary, but it served its purpose just fine.
Finally I’d like to review the parking. Other comments mentioned it was very hard to find and not suitable for non Europeans due to the narrow streets you had to go through, so naturally I was worried to use it. So much I found another parking a few blocks away to avoid the hassle, but when I got to it it was closed and so I decided to give the hotel parking a chance. I’m not a European, and I could manage to get to the hotel parking and park in it just fine. And I was driving a small SUV. So I should point out that the parking is not only easy to get to, but also very suitable for most drivers and cars. Not to mention convenient.
