Estado general de la habitación correcto, ducha compartida fuera de la habitación. Recomendar cambio de la base y el colchón, casi imposible dormir por esta circunstancia y los ruidos por la cercanía a la plaza. Positivo la localización céntrica y el precio

Calidad-precio muy bien

La Atencion muy buena. Nos dejaron dejar el equipaje por la mañana y hacer el check-in por la tarde, además nos subieron las maletas a la habitación. A la salida lo mismo, hicimos el check-out a la mañana y dejamos el equipaje hasta después de comer. Ubicación perfecta, en el centro de Salamanca. Habitación y baños limpios. Solo había toma de corriente a un lado de la cama y nos tuvimos que apañar los dos con uno pero tampoco ha sido un gran problema.

The hostel itself is about what you would expect small/cheap but the beds only had flatsheets over the mattresses. No big deal at first but within five minutes i got my first bug bite i assumed a misquote and went to bed. I woke up with dozens of bites all over my arms, legs, back and stomach then looked over at my friend sleeping and and saw large bed bugs crawling everywhere, i killed one and the rest ran. We left at 4am to sleep at a friends hotel on the marble floor with coats for blankets rather than stay in that hell hole. We reported it before we left and the guy running the hostel first pretended not to know what bed bugs were then denied they had them even with pictures. Once we showed him a dead bed bug he tried to blame us saying we brought them and became very hostile(neither of us had any kind of bites before then and have never had bed bugs).when we showed him proof of bugs on the mattress, sheets and pillows he denied everything. When we tried to file a complaint he said they had no forms (we learned this is illegal)and he would not refund us for the two nights we had prepaid for. After threatening to report to the police the guy quickly refunded us and became a lot less rude. We wanted to make sure other people are aware of what they could be getting into because when we booked this hostel there were lots of positive reviews. We both are spending our vacation miserable and itchy with 30+bites on us each hopefully you can avoid the same situation

Worth what you are paying for.

A little out of the dated but the location beat all the drawbacks! All the hot spots are within walking distance. Bathrooms are shared but I can tell the staff work really hard to keep them clean;?the garbage can in the washroom in our floor was emptied several times during the day. No elevator. So if you don’t like to climb stairs don’t choose this one. Otherwise, just enjoy staying the heart of old charming Salamanca!

great central location - a very lively, noisy area at night, esp Sat night at end of Uni semester. Civitas walking tours start at the nearby Plaza and it's easy to get back to accommodation as it's right next to Plaza Mayor, the central plaza.

Lo mejor es la localizacion y la limpieza, lo peor es todo lo demas. La habitacion es pequeña, sin ducha, con mucho ruido, el colchón incomodo....30 euros en una habitacion individual para la habitacion como estaba me parecio caro. Sin duda no volvere.

Excelente custo x benefício

Cheguei no período da tarde e fui bem recebida. Ganhei um mapa da cidade. O lugar é muito bem localizado, limpo e confortável. Reservei o quarto mais simples, mas nele havia um banheiro com pia e vaso sanitário (ótimo). Achava que seria apenas o quarto privativo e um banheiro de corredor. Excelente custo x benefício. Recomendo!

Matchbox room

Only stayed one night. The description on Hotels.com said en-suite bathroom but only toilet was en-suite you had to go across the hall for a shower. Spiral staircase two flights up with very little light. Room matchbox size even for 1 person. Heater could only be plugged in one outlet so you had tv or heater and then the extremely small heater gave out. The young lady at check in was pleasant but I wouldn't spend more than one night.

Great location & very reasonable cost.

Nice friendly family, great location next to main square & in middle of tourist focus. Lots of local bars, cafes & eating places. A bit quiet & cold city in late November. Central heating came on and room became comfortable after initially being cold. Owner brought me an extra quilt too. Simple, unpretentious room at really good rate. Shared bathroom. Needs a spare electric socket by bed - common thing with many small hostales. Comfy bed. Breakfast not included but they can arrange one at nearby cafe/bar. All historic sites are nearby and walkable. Train and bus stations are a little distance but walkable. Rooms are on 3rd and 4th floors - ok for me but not if you've difficulty climbing stairs (no lift). Roof terrace has some views but rainy & chilly outside when I was there so just had a quick look; should be good in summer. Flat panel wall-mounted TV worked ok. Sink in room. Very clean room, sheets, pillows, towels.

Pension from hell

Worst pension ever Moroccan man met us and couldn't give a damn had to wait till 2 to get in cos he had to clean. Room size of a postage stamp that could be cleaned in 10 min bathroom could just turn round in mold in corners and on ceiling spray of bleach would have sorted. Smell not good . Others rooms far better but left empty. Just glad only there 2 nights and only slept there. Would recommend it to my worst enemies. Only thing in its favour is the location staircase very narrow circular and dangerous hand rail missing from top
