One night business stay would stay again
Quite location. Pleasant staff, good evening meal, unfortunately I didn’t have breakfast as I wanted to be way early, bathroom was clean bed comfortable will stay again when in the area
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was excellent. Hot water took a while to come through in the bathroom but once it arrived it was fine and did not get cooler. We will certainly return
The warm welcome from Dennis and Sarah made us very welcome, nothing to much trouble. Catch word was no problem. Part way through our stay was a change of chef by name of Tom although a young man served us well with good food. Also to Sarah's Grandson Keon who helped keep the tables and the fetching and carrying for the main staff. All in all our stay was vey good. Will come again. Well recomending The Old Railway Hotel Porton
We arrived after over 3 hours of travelling to be told we couldn’t stay in our room due to a flood!
Problem with the guttering during a heatwave (really)?
No phone call to prevent the trip and no back up plan.
Looked like a lovely place but unfortunately we were left stranded.
This hotel was dirty, from the front door to the room. The bathroom reeked of stool, not sure it had recently been cleaned. The tv wall stand was broken leaving the tv facing the floor. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I think I have ever slept on. There was no door marked “hotel” and we had to find our way in through the restaurant. When we tried to leave we were locked in, with no staff in sight so had to exit out the back kitchen door, which was even dirtier than the rest of the place. Overall, our stay here was horrible and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Kedelig oplevelse
