Lovely old house. It is like staying in the past but with en suite bathrooms. Food is fantastic.

10 stars for The Orchard Inn!
I would give them 10 stars if I could! LOCATION The inn is located in charming Saluda close to the downtown shops and only 10 minutes from Hendersonville. Easy to get to from the highway INN The inn itself is gorgeous! Walking towards the inn on the beautifully landscaped walkway lands you on a large farmhouse porch with swings and plenty of sitting areas just awaiting a cool mountain breeze to wisp by you. The inn has a beautiful, grand fireplace and several sitting areas, including a library where many guests were enjoying relaxing. Downstairs felt like its own little pub area with TV watching area and pool table, which we used. The well behaved boxer, Clayton, meets you at the door and followed us to our car to "help" us unload. Very sweet and friendly pup! Very cozy and homey vibe! THE ROOM Farmhouse feel and bed was 10/10 on comfort. It was GREAT sleep and so cozy. Bathroom was a little small but large pedestal sink allowed for plenty of room for toiletries, makeup, etc. DINING The ambiance and dining experience made our experience very magical. Breakfast was superb - fruit yogurt, danishes, eggs, sausage, and yummy sunflower toast. We sat out on the porch veranda and I cannot begin to describe how glorious it was. Trickling water sounds, wide mountain views, and cozy dining table. SERVICE Everyone is so friendly and hospitable. Adam gave us a tour of the inn and was so nice and charming. Overall, wonderful experience! Make sure to check out the birds!

The Orchard Inn was a perfect mountain getaway! Our room was clean, comfortable, and decorated in the vintage style of the inn. But the best part was the fabulous breakfast with the beautiful mountain view on the covered porch! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We’d love to come back to have dinner at Newman’s which we missed because of the time we visited. Highly recommend this wonderful inn!

Wonderful place. I could move in! Gorgeous view, comfortable room, great lobby and basement room full of books, games, etc. Very happy To have discovered it. We’ll come back.

Great setting in mountains, close to Saluda. Classic old facility in great shape with friendly and efficient service. The breakfast was really good. Unfortunately Newmans restaurant was closed during our stay, but will return when it is open. We enjoyed our visit

Fantastic Staff and Food
Gorgeous views, food was amazing, and staff was wonderful and so welcoming! It would have been nice to have a tv and mini fridge in the room, but no biggie. I felt like it was a bit pricey but way nicer than other nearby options.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was great. I wish that our schedule had allowed us to eat dinner there. I would love to go again.

Absolutely amazing, everything was amazing!!! The staff was attentive without being invasive, the views and location are wonderful. The restaurant is one of the best we have ever been to.

Just driving up to the Orchard Inn took my breath away. It's a beautiful, Victorian building in a mountain forest. When we walked inside we were immediately struck by the view across the room -- an enclosed veranda that overlooks amazing flowers and very busy birdfeeders with a stunning valley view beyond. The staff is wonderful and they truly make you feel at home. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. I took advantage of the invitation to join the owner on a morning walk with their dogs, Murray and Clayton, on their mountain trail. It was lovely. Breakfast is delicious, prepared fresh and plentiful. I couldn't help feeling that we were guests in their home instead of customers of their business. The Inn is centrally located to many activities in that region including hiking, adventure tours, wineries, quaint restaurants and shops and more. I can't wait to go back.

Charming Get Away
I've stayed at The Orchard Inn many times. The service and rooms, as well as the food, keeps me returning year after year. I've always felt welcome and somewhat pampered when I'm staying in Saluda. The breakfast is incredible so I'm sure the dinners they offer, must be as well. You can't really do much better than The Orchard Inn.

Love it!
This was our fifth stay at the Orchard Inn. The current innkeepers are by far the best of the 3 we have experienced. They and their staff are extremely accommodating. Their dinners and breakfasts are excellent.

Very quaint, comfortable and conveniently located
Within a quick 20 minute highway drive to Tryon International Equestrian Center. Excellent staff who go above and beyond to take care of your every need - even when I was running late one morning, they boxed up a danish and delivered fresh coffee from the kitchen so I could quickly get on the road. Rooms are very clean and appointed with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Also nice to have private bathrooms in a B&B which isn't always offered. Views from the bedrooms and dining rooms are absolutely spectacular! Would love to come back again and spend more time exploring the trails and the area of Saluda - a charming small town. Thank you Orchard Inn hosts!

Orchard Inn
Beautiful view, wonderful attentive staff, and excellent food! The front porch was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the weather and the quietness. The only complaint I have is that smoking is allowed on the porch. After a lovely dinner at the Inn my husband and I were enjoying time on the front porch but had to go in because of a chain smoker. She was always smoking. Other guests also went inside due to the constant cigarette smoke. I did ask the staff about their smoking policy and was told that guests could not smoke inside but they could not tell people they could not smoke outside on the porch. Sad ..... I hope the owners will reconsider their smoking policy.

Clean rooms and helpful staff
I recently got married at the inn and most of my family also stayed there. Not a bad thing to say, Marc and Marianne are great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Also the food was totally worth the price tag, don't be afraid to try new things!

A little piece of heaven
A perfect place to get away from everything. As soon as you walked into the door of the inn you felt at home. Comfortable furnishings, windows to give you views of the beautiful mountains and staff to see that you had everything you needed. I enjoyed every minute of my time spent in this wonderful retreat. I plan to come back as soon as I can.. Everyone needs to experience this heavenly place...

Fabulous Couples B&B
A fabulous B&B conveniently located near Ashville and the Blue Ridge Parkway area of NC. The staff are top shelf and the inn's restaurant is 5 star in quality, originality and taste. I appreciated the premium to focus on couples versus family oriented accommodations. A more mature and affluent guest will get exactly what they're looking for - tranquility, manners and appropriately suited fine dining. A true gem - I will certainly return!

Great B&B with gorgeous views and delicious food!
The Orchard Inn is the best Bed & Breakfast I've stayed at. The staff was very friendly and the food was outstanding. The Inn has a garden below and overlooks the North Caroline mountains. It is such a peaceful place to stay. We really enjoyed it.

Great place to stay and relax!
Outstanding overall experience! I will definitely stay at the The Orchard Inn next time I will be in the area. You are being treated like family as soon as you arrive and the service remains excellent until you leave. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a peaceful weekend getaway.

Celebrating a 87th Birthday
The Inn is a spacious, well decorated, and comfortable quarters. The hostess and host are friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Fresh flowers adorn each table and linens are provided. My husband`s birthday was honored with a small helium balloon on our table. . The gardens were flowering and well maintained. Our greatest challenge were the stairs to the bedroom and a missing guard rail in the shower. (Management was surprised to learn this and said that they thought rails had been installed iin all bathrooms.) We enjoyed meeting other guests and enjoyed our viisit very much.

While visiting Asheville, we were overwhelmed by the development & the busyness. It was such a pleasure to arrive at the Orchard Inn - a simple oasis away from the hustle & bustle. Orchard Inn is a beautiful and pleasing environment with gracious hosts and wonderful food. We truly appreciated Marc's guided hike around the grounds to start our day.

A lovely getaway
There is a lovely view of the mountains, with many nearby attractions. The food and service is excellent, and we were made to feel right at home.

Nice country inn
We were greeted in the large lobby by two very friendly boxers. There was literally nothing but positive experiences during this trip. Downtown Saluda has some nice restaurants but was crowded due to a kayaking event, so we enjoyed a fine meal at the Orchard Inn. A quiet, relaxing atmosphere was just what I needed after a hard work week.
