"This property was beautiful. The location was ideal and so easy to visit the little towns around the lake by public boat. You could make it anywhere around the laje in under 10 minutes. The staff was amazing, food was great, the views were stunning. Everything had so much character. We had the best time and we'd love to go back. "

"Beautiful place! One of the best places you can stay. Gardens are beautiful. All hotel has great views. Room were great, confy, clean, culturally decorated, all the place was just beautiful! The hotel even calls the boat for you to be picked up right from the hotel to go to the other beautiful towns in the atitlan lake. And if you need to go to the town, you can just walk to the most turistic points that are in walking distance but if you dont feel like walking they call you a tuk tuk for you to ride! The hotel also has kayaks and life jackets you can use for free. Breakfast is great and FREE. Parking is a bit confusing as you park in an area near by the lake and you walk towards the lake then find a sign that guides you through the fields that crosses other lands and you take stairs that lead to the hotel. Youget the beautiful views from your room as all rooms faced the lake. They have great service and all the staff was super friendly. Overall i was super satisfiedwith everything. Thank you so much. I'll always recommend this hotel to everyone who visits San Juan de los lagos Atitlan"

"Marce was sooo accomodating The property is got ground and so serene and easy to get to from the dock🔥 I highly recomend staying here. Especially if you’re traveling as a couple. The rooms have Amazing views and are so comfortable. Beautiful bathrooms and outdoor Spaces."

"***Accesible by BOAT ONLY*** I think that should be the first and most important info anyone should know. Do not use google maps to get here coz it will lead to a very dangerous dirt road n stops at a cliff n your forced to go down said dirt road to a little town called Santa Cruz, which has 1 Main road leading to a small port. There you can get onto a water taxi for like $3 to get to the hotel which is just one stop over. Once you get to the hotel though, excellent excellent service. They were extremely nice and hospitable. They gave me an upgrade since it was low season and it was just us and one other couple in the whole resort. Of note, the restaurant on site is vegetarian only. I didn’t know that either. Sure I panicked. What does one do but miss meat right away when I heard that. But surprisingly, the food actually tasted good! Loved their free breakfast. Get the toasted coconut French toast! We never went off property since we had to work online. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool since it rained every afternoon noon. But nonetheless, if it’s eco tourism, this is the place. Rooms are huge and beautiful. Balcony was even better. "

"A lot of stairs to the rooms. No A/C, no screens on the doors so you have to close the doors and gets a little hot. Beautiful scenery of the lake from the rooms. Birds singing in the morning. Cafeteria is facing the lake. Beautiful "

"I loved everything about this hotel. The views were stunning. The bathroom was so beautiful. My bed was so comfortable. I usually travel to explore but I booked this hotel specifically to relax and enjoy the hotel itself. Food and drinks were good as well. You can hear everything from the nearby rooms and the dogs will wake you up at 5:30am, but just in time for sunrise. The area itself is full of backpackers and hippies, not my scene but I stayed in the hotel. A 3 min walk is a park where you can jump off into the lake. I stayed on a rainy Sunday night so I didnt experience the loud music from neighboring spots. No ac but the fan was perfect. Definitely will stay here again."
