"Very nice hotel is in a convenient location in San Marcos close enough to the main road and the public dock. Solid restaurant and good customer service. Meals were good if not great. Scenic view of the lake. They did a nice job putting together transportation and activities for our visit. Just be aware that because it is in town you may hear some sounds like music and dogs close to bedtime but never after 10pm. I would stay again. "

"We stayed in the deluxe double and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, including in setting up our transportation. We had no issues getting to and from the hotel. It is a bit isolated (in a good way) so we were able to relax with good views, and had some of the best food we had during our trip. Prices were reasonable for what you get. I was a little worried I would be cold at night, but the room was super comfortable and there were no issues with temperature. Highly recommend; we would definitely stay again."

"This property charges premium prices but delivers very little beyond the view. The location overlooking Lake Atitlán is beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The internet was essentially unusable during my stay. For a hotel at this price level, reliable internet should be basic. I had work to do and could not connect. Mobile data also barely works in this location, so the hotel’s Wi-Fi is the only option. What made the situation worse was the response from staff. No one was helpful or interested in resolving the issue. The explanation I received was that their office computer connected by LAN was working, so the problem must be Wi-Fi. They also blamed the internet provider. In other words, no one took responsibility. One staff member even told me that because this is an “eco-resort,” guests shouldn’t need internet. That response is dismissive. Many guests still need internet for work, communication, or basic travel planning. For one of the more expensive properties around Lake Atitlán, the lack of amenities and the failure to provide reliable internet is unacceptable. The view is fantastic, but the experience did not match the price. Management should address both the connectivity issue and how staff handle guest concerns."

"Amazing location and room! It was perfect for everything you need. Having the second floor with a little balcony made it feel like you were in the jingle. The doors open all the way and it’s like indoor outdoor living. Absolutely perfect!"
