โi dont know what to say..because for me this hotel is ok n im just in the wrong time and situation..Im stuck in miri because of the covid19 n lockdown issue..my flight back to kl cancel and i was asked to quarantine myself in the place where I was staying ... at the start of my stay at the meritz hotel for 1 weeks but I had to move out and look for another hotel because they had closed their hotel due to covid19 issue and I had to find a hotel that was still operating and at that time only...

โGood: Friendly staffs, Running reliable hot showers, nice interior design, bed comfort was good/average, great location next to mall & restaurants, bottled water & towels were provided, no curfews 24-7.
Bad: Almost all rooms have no windows (& this was not mentioned in room description), toilet bowl & shower walls needs proper scrubbing, smart TV remote was not functioning, no toiletaries (no soap, shampoo etc). Theres Mosquito... dont know how it went inside despite the room having no...
โFor the price, this place is good value if you are looking for a quick overnight place to shower and sleep. Convenient location. Lots of food places, mini marts and other basic needs within a minute's walk. Old and run down but good value. Friendly staff.โ
โVery spacious and filled with amenities, breakfast is great as well, cleaned room and toilet but the bed maybe feels a bit too soft already, as if it was not change .โ
