We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel was so clean and the staff very kind. My only complaint is parking was $30/day with no other options.

Most of the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good, pancakes are the best. The pool is heated so it's wonderful. Great location for kids, everything is at a 10-15 min distance. Check in starts at 3:00 p.m., the best is not to arrive to early.

The most notable issue was the plumbing; the shower was clogged, which made showering uncomfortable and unhygienic. Additionally, the bed was overly soft to the point of being unsupportive, contributing to a less restful night’s sleep in a room that was already compromised by excessive noise. This issue was exacerbated by the thin walls between adjoining rooms, which did little to provide privacy. The room’s air conditioning unit was both outdated and noisy. On a positive note, the staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming, which was a highlight in an otherwise underwhelming experience.

The view is beautiful all-around and it was a comfortable stay! On a side note, the Baristas were unfriendly, and did not even greet, or make eye contact. But other than that, looking forward to my next stay in the future.

The room was very clean and quiet, didn't spend much time at the hotel or surrounding area but the freeways were easily accessed. Would definetly stay here again.

The ac and heater unit is disgusting, filthy with bugs and dust, the bathroom wall vent filthy and the small refrigerator was not working and was full of ice build up. For $201 a night is ridiculous! The lobby was full of screaming kids. The cafe isn't open late enough.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was rough. The bathroom door was hard to shut, old light switches with gunk around them, mini fridge didn’t work great, and a big board came out from under the bed cutting into your walking path. My mother in law ran into it a couple of times. The pool wasn’t heated, as it claimed to be. The hot tub was really hot and the jets didn’t work very often. The seat for elderly/disabled to get into the hot tub was sitting there but not mounted into the ground. One of the big elevators wouldn’t go to the main floor even though the button would light up. Overall, friendly staff, building needs work.

I took 3 showers during my stay. I had no hot water for any of the three showers. Ice cold for two luke warm for one. My sister was on the same floor and her and her wife checked out because the cold water, the agent that checked them in was highly rude, and the room they checked into was dirty. Also the floors are supposed to be key card secured but four times during my stay at the oddest hours random carriers were coming on the floors slipping marketing material not related to the hotel under the door. I was so scared because I had just gotten out of the shower I was drying off and knock knock door handle shake menu slipped under door. Elevators were down at time of check in. I travel a lot I've stayed at a lot of hotels, I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, the quality and service at this location has declined. For the cost of the location and brand you expect more - or at least a minimum level of cleanliness, friendliness, and security. When I checked out at 4am Monday morning there was a third party security supervisor visiting with the front desk representative on the phone with the third party security dispatch saying how the property was out of compliance because no security officer had shown up for shift in there in 3 days which was a violation of their service level agreement with the property. Will look for an alternate hotel next time I'm in San Diego.
