โStayed mainly to break up our journey from the Portuguese coast to the Mediterranean coast, but we were very pleased we stayed in the old town and at this hotel. They were both excellent. Beautifully appointed hotel, spacious bedroom and bathroom with lots of character. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room, unfortunately the restaurant was temporarily closed but we were able to find one within walking distance.โ
โEl alojamiento ha estado guay, el balneario tambiรฉn muy bien, las habitaciones bastante poco insonorizadasโฆ Es verdad que son camas gigantes y es super tranquilo pero como alguien ronque al ladoโฆ horribleโฆ No habรญa albornoces cuando fuimos, que es algo raro puesto que tenรญamos reserva, deberรญan haber previsto algo asรญ pero bueno, no pasa nada porque nos dieron facilidades. Bastante bien la verdad. โ

โFantastic hotel, but the air conditioning had limited control, meaning we had to go to reception at 3am to get it switched back on as the room was very hot.
Restaurant is superb quality, not cheap but worth treating yourself, the tiramasu is an experience. โ
โThis is a great hotel in an antique Palacio. Our bed room was very impressive with 3 feet stone walls and a private balcony on Plaza Mayor. I recommend this hotel for its charm and authenticity.โ
โI recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasnโt the most comfortable experience. The room itself was just okayโbasic but functional. However, it didnโt feel very clean. There was an awful smell in the room that never went away. There were visible marks on the walls, a stale smell, and the bathroom could definitely use a more thorough scrubbing.
What really put me off, though, was the general atmosphere. Some of the other guests seemedโฆ off. A few were lingering in the hallways at...
โWe chose this for an overnight stop, with our pet furry friend, on our way from Santander to Portuguese Silver Coast. Pet friendly and self-catering appealed to us. The communication and the welcome to the lovely property, from Sandra, was exceptional. She went out of her way to show us the accommodation and walk us through the pretty village to the local restaurant, telling us a little about the place as we went.
