Staff was super, super nice and helpful! Room was really clean and nice. Definitely smaller and made to be efficiently spaced. It’s also pretty modern and would recommend for younger couples or solo. Bathroom has not much privacy but other than that great stay especially for the price!

I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT CitizenM. Just the right size and had everything you would ever need for a 5 night’s stay. It was a one way street in the heart of Union Square. It had a “Living Room “ with floor to ceiling windows with plenty of space to relax and chill. They had chess, and a gigantic “Connect Four” game which we thoroughly enjoyed, and oh yeah, they had a bar with “Happy Hour drinks and food. There were a couple of great restaurants, right downstairs and across the street . It was also walking distance to the cable cars, Ross and other familiar stores. I’d give it 100 stars if I could.

Thoroughly modern and impeccably maintained. This is our second time at the San Fran location, and it's the only place we'll stay. Room was perfect and the climate control was outstanding--- dead quiet and you didn't know it was even running. PLUS, the room has return ventilation which keeps everything fresh! The staff, as always, was amazing! Always saying hello, whether it's the bar tenders or the cleaning staff. We've made friends with the bar tenders--- just like the first time. They're just great people! The lounge and study area are super relaxing and beautiful! Highly recommend!

If you rent or have a car there is a parking garage right next to the CitizenM doors but it was $46 from 8:30pm-11:00am. Everything else was great! The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. I loved the view and how the whole room was controlled by a tablet!

A well-planned hotel with convenient controls from the iPad located next to bed. Breakfast is great, but a bit expensive. Climate and lighting controls worked well. Free bottled water was nice, but a cup at the sink would be good for toothbrushing. The location is great for BART trains to SFO, Oakland, and Berkeley, as well as buses east to coast. The lounge is great for hanging out and recharging devices after checking out.
