Safe but noisy and not serviced
As soon as I entered the room comfortably because of the early check-in, the toilet made too much noise, so I couldn't rest comfortably. Asked for extra towels but not given. Too loud noises outside at night. The excuse is that everything is under renovation.safe

THE WORST HOTEL EVER
It was the worst hotel ever. I have booked through Expedia and fully paid for 3 nights. But my flight time is changed so I called Expedia to contact the Hotel to hold my room. Expedia confirmed that communication was done (even Expedia got the notification email from hotel's manager). When I got to the Hotel, they said they had canceled my room and they cannot do anything. Does this how nomally Americans handle the business? Who is reading my comments, do not make full payment ever with this hotel.

Thank you for your comments. Wyndham is not a hotel company however we are timeshare. I’m sure if there were travel complications working with Expedia would be the best solution to expedite any kind of refund that can be offered. Unfortunately since you booked with them and not the Wyndham, we are unable to offer any solutions however we are happy to work with you in order to get any refund possible. There are strict policies and procedures with a timeshare that most hotels are able to go around. Should there been issues with your travel, you should have contacted the hotel directly as Expedia does not handle situations in this matter. We apologize about the frustrations

Room was spacious and clean, new furniture! Very nice lobby. Parked at California parking which was right across the street. I would stay here again.

Okay for the price
I gave an overall 3 stars for average. It was not bad for the price, but I would have been disappointed if I paid the full price (Google Maps showed $600+ when I checked in). The couch was not comfortable and I could not get the Chromecast to work. My room was near the side of the building where there are AC units so it was noisy and I had to wear earplugs to sleep. I mainly chose this place because of the fridge and microwave so having that was nice (as well as plates/cups/bowls). All the workers were very friendly but beware the concierge trying to get you to attend a time share presentation. This is on the edge of the Tenderloin district which is unfortunately a very rough area of the city, so you will to very cautious avoid walking in that direction. Look down when you're walking too, because there will likely be poo. If you are walking from the Bart station, be prepared to walk uphill.

A beautiful hotel where everybody gets a brand new suite! My favorite thing about the room was the beautifully tiled shower stall. The lobby is luxurious and the hotel has a nice workout room right there on the first floor. I love the fact that the hotel is secure and you need to use your room key to get in the front door. Free coffee in the morning was very good, I went downstairs and bought some microwave Popcorn, watched a great movie on a rainy day through casting Amazon prime to the big tv screen in my living room. The place is a quiet retreat after a long day of sightseeing and walking. Highly recommended.

Notre famille a beaucoup apprécié l'hôtel de part son confort, son positionnement dans la ville et les petits gestes à destination des clients (boissons, cookies, concert, salle de jeux avec console...). Et en période de Noël, la décoration est magique. Nous recommandons!

Great downtown hotel, amazing staff
Great hotel located downtown close to restaurants, activities et transportation. The staff was amazing! From the front desk at late arrival till the check out every staff member we have crossed or ask for recommandation was smiling and look happy to talk to us.

We didn't enjoy the hard sell for a time share presentation . The stay was great except for that bit. Very comfortable bed, nice greeting on our return etc.

Super Hotel in San Francisco. Lage sehr gut, Union Square und Cable Car zu Fuß erreichbar. Ist quasi ne 2 Zimmer Wohnung mit Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile. Viel Platz, bequeme Betten und gute Einrichtung. Für den Preis sehr zu empfehlen

A great choice for a stay in the centre of San Francisco. The location is ideal, within convenient distance of all the best bits of the city. We felt safe walking in the streets around the hotel. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The spacious suite had everything we needed. Only criticism is that the kitchen cupboards showed some signs of wear, but this is no big deal. We were asked to attend a timeshare presentation, but they let us go after 20 minutes when it became clear we were unlikely to buy. In return we got some breakfast snacks and coffee and a voucher for a free hotel stay. All in all I was very happy with our stay.
