This is the second time I stayed on a bee suites. the first time was in Santa Ana, now in Escalante. The cleaning conditions, the quality of the instalallations, furniture and appliances, excellent. This is the place to stay in San Jose

This was the second leg of our boys trip. We stayed in Jaco a few days before then we decided to visit San Jose. The location is amazing and the property is definitely a must stay. It’s quiet and close to everything.

The apartment itself was really cute and suited my needs perfectly. The staff is also really responsive. The Ubers to the downtown were pretty cheap and only took like 10 minutes. I’d stay again.

Excellent location and clean rooms
We really enjoyed our stay at this condominium bldg in Escalante, in an upscale Barrio of San Jose CR. Great restaurants are nearby, and we selected "Arbol De Seda" which is 400m away (5 minutes walk) and serves vegetarian and vegan food. It turned out to be a great choice and we highly recommend it to even carnivorous folks (like me) who can order "beyond meat" brunch burger. This building appears to be very new and our studio apartment was clean and had lots of great amenities which made it a fantastic value for staying in the San Jose area. We were a quick Uber ride to the downtown area and the National Museum.

Amazing! The building was right in the heart of barrio escalante. Walking distance from all restaurants and bars. The suite had the greatest city views. Lovely.

The “no checki in” process required a check in with the lobby guard who didn’t speak English. The electronic door code provided did not work and the door to the apartment couldn’t be opened. WhatsApp response was “get back to you during business hours”. This was at 10:30pm when we arrived. The lobby guard provided an emergency key. Room was basic. Table lamps not plugged in. Beds are simple with no head board just on a steel frame. I wouldn’t stay again.

Cold showers!
Cold showers every single day complain three times. Nothing was done about it… They just reset the breaker played with a little little bit but nobody fixed it…. Who likes cold showers?…. The staff was very friendly… The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable… The noise at night was terrible. At times. You can hear everything through the ceiling and flooring…. Bring your earplugs if you’re a light sleeper…. The neighborhood was pretty safe.

The room was nice enough but the walls are paper thin. I would constantly hear noise when I was in the unit either from up above or maybe the elevator shaft. Can’t exactly pinpoint where it was coming from. Also, would’ve loved to have a safe in the unit instead leaving valuables unlocked. Thanks for providing some water in the fridge.

Located on the Neto Escalante building the Bee Suite was a clean, comfy small apartment with everything you need for a short stay. Barely 1.5Km from La Bandera, Mall San Pedro or the Centro Cultural Norteamericano. Plenty of nice restaurants in this area. Loved how everything worked flawlessly through WhatsApp. Would go back !
