“We planned a short getaway to Friday Harbor with our two small children. I booked the room with the garden terrace not quite knowing what to expect. WOW! Although we felt a little awkward with the kids (most people staying there at the time did not have kids), we were very warmly welcomed by the staff. The 2nd night I paid $100. for a bed, dresser, & bath down the hall. Not a good value, but they charge that much since they can. ”
