“Booked a “premium suite” and paid a premium price for a suite that has no dedicated shower. The shower is a handheld inside a huge jacuzzi tub with no shower curtain! Your bathing options are to fill and drain an enormous spa size tub or slip & slide on uneven jacuzzi seats spraying water everywhere. The hotel response “you booked a jacuzzi suite”. “If you have young kids and want to explore nature without crowds this is the best place. There is swimming in the creek with a water slide. Pool with a water slide and hot springs. The nature tour was so good and we saw so much wildlife at our hotel for free! Very relaxed vibe and we felt like the only guests. It’s a 25 min drive from La Fortuna but honestly so worth it. Definitely one of my favorite hotels we have ever stayed at.”
