Our stay was wonderful! The staff was great and the rooms were super clean and comfortable. The location itself is amazing with beautiful ocean views and a great place to relax. We were able to walk down to the beach and enjoy the outdoor bonfire. The rooms are super clean and the bed is great. Highly recommended this hotel.

Older property showing its age outside but interior of room was clean and well appointed. Outside asthetics were a bit disappointing as the Front building of property was under renovation but not disclosed at the time the reservation was made. Motel is in a good location on Shell Beach. FIREPITS by the bluffs were a BIG plus and are available on first come first serve basis.

The views were outstanding and I would recommend this place just for the views and location alone but the mattress and pillows were a bit lumpy and flat. The walking trail was wonderful to access the other restaurants and to get a view of the coast.

I liked the closeness to the beach. The staff at check in was friendly and helpful. I wish we had known before hand that construction was going on, parking was at a premium. The wallpaper in bathroom was peeling and the shower would drip continuously. Both were reported to front office at check out.

Great stay at Spyglass Inn overall - clean room, everything worked well, spectacular view, and a nice fireplace. The bed was super comfortable too. Two things to know: floor-level units can be noisy since you'll hear footsteps from above (older building). Also, free WiFi is basic and slow - faster speeds cost extra per day. Neither was a dealbreaker. Would stay again.

Amazing location, great price, but the robe hook and the toilet paper roll holder were both falling out of the wall when we arrived. It was clean but a little run down. The view and the outdoor fire pits made up for it. Would likely stay there again.

Nice access to ocean front walking and lounging, nearby restaurant great to eat at. Did not understand the parking fee when not gated and sign then says park at own risk. Window screen coming off window, so wasn't fully at ease as solo traveler. Specifically ask for ocean view room instead of random selection.
