Staff did not speak English but check in was easy. Rooms were a good size. Very basic amenities. Just a bed and a table and chair ( I think). No towels in room. I think there was a small soap. “The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning.”

We were told that the machines were not working and we would have to pay in cash. We were told that the owner was looking to sell and she was only wanting cash. “It's definitely not what it used to be. I've stayed there many times during 2016 to 2020. It was lively, bright well staffed. Now it's a skeleton of what it once was. I stood 4 nights - 5 days went to breakfast the first day and after looking at it only had the coffee and left, i never went back i ate out for breakfast. “The guesthouse is situated overlooking the ocean but it is well hidden. Don't give up! Follow the unpaved road around and you'll find a gem. The proprietor is friendly, will provide breakfast, arrange take-out meals and transfers if needed. We enjoyed our stay. ”
