Wish we could stay longer

We spent a very relaxing and comfortable 3 nights at Hotel Akelarre. Service from the staff at reception and in the restaurants is friendly and first class all the way. It was so quiet and peaceful during our stay.

Outstanding truly one of the first class properties in the world the Michelin three star incredible had a chance to meet the chef.. charming , humorous , twinkle in his eye .. fantastic food A must stop if you’re traveling through Spain

Life of luxury

This place is amazing! Every room is designed so it is completely private, so you can have the curtains open on the entire glass wall in the bedroom and look out over the Bay of Biscay, and soak in the tub while inhaling the ocean air. You are practically outside. They really take care of you, here. They have a spa, and they are attached to the Akelarre Restaurant (3 Michelin stars) that started it all.

Great hotel, but ufortunately some shortcomings

We had booked a room with a kingsized bed, but it turned out to be just two single beds put together. We where told that all the beds were this way. Very anoying to have that crack in the center of the bed, when you just want to cuddle in the nice surroundings of this else very nice hotel
