"We arrived at midnight and Tia was so welcoming for us weary travelers. We were so tired, we slept in and missed breakfast. We noticed the sink drains really slowly, hence the 4 stars. Other than that we slept well. The hair dryer was brand new. We love the convenience of this hotel to the airport, highway entrances, shops and restaurants nearby. We always had a parking spot available despite a full lot. The staff were nice and greeted us as we were coming and going. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again."

"The room did not seem to be totally attended to before I checked into it. There was no hand soap in the rooms and the coffee accessories were opened by someone who had previously been in the room. I had to go down and get soap and coffee accessories from the front desk myself. That was annoying, but other than that, it was good."

"The rumors will be rumors; “haunted” is not how I would ever describe this hotel, ENCHANTING is more appropriate. Between the rustic feel, the beautiful rooms, amazing staff and overall cozy southern hospitality feel it’s hard to describe just how pleasant our stay at the berry hill resort was. The tavern as well as indoor pool were magnificent and the bed/ room were extremely comfy and inviting. Excellent, fulfilling breakfast with SO much to do on the property. Would not only recommend for a romantic getaway but anytime treeing through southern Virginia as well!"

"Breakfast was excellent. Overall property was in good shape and looked good. Room was nice but lacked the touches that were needed to make it totally functional and well supplied: tissue paper ran out right away, no shower cap, no magnifying mirror, TV very hard to operate, etc. Even after requesting it, the trash was not taken out during our entire stay."
